Hide and Go Seek: part one
(my first story!)
Julie strolled into the room, making no noise. She put on her fake smile, making sure she hid her fangs, and casually said, "Ready or not, here I come." She knew that the good looking middle-aged man was hiding here; she could practically taste his fear! It was too bad that she was thirsty, for she could use this one. Something about him made her feel almost guilty about this. ALMOST. Julie knew that she had better hurry up though! If she failed this next assignment, her boss, Stevan, would be exploding with anger. She was determined not to let him down this time.
Maybe I have started too early in this story. My name is Reynah. Everyone Julie and I associate with as friends, or work with, are vampires. Yes, vampires do exist. No, most of the
myths about us aren't true. In this case, I am Julie's partner. When I say that, I mean business partner. Do I enjoy working with her? The answer would be no. Is she good at her
job? The answer would be yes. Listen carefully as I tell you more about us and our jobs.
