Daniel Brown's POV/STORY

Daniel's POV (If you don't remember him, he is in chapter three)

*When he was taken by the police*

Charlotte was laying over Jenny's dead body when the cops came and dragged me down to the cop car.

"You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in court of law" The annoying cop said, pushing my head lightly causing me to sit in the cop car while he slams the door and walks towards the drivers seat.

I just satyed silent as he drove to the police station, not wanting to anger him or say the wrong thing.

*10 minutes later, at the police station*

The cop pulled open the door and allowed me to get out of the car, once out of the car he huffed me again and walked me into the staion and towards an office.

He knocked on the door twice and walked in. Behind an oak wooden desk was a guy, around his mid thirties, legs hoisted up on the desk, like you see in the movies, he had on a smart suit and had a ciggeret in his mouth. When he saw me, he sat up straight in his chair and put out the ciggeret with the help of his ashtray.

"Hello sir, this little boy has been causing trouble in an orphanage" The cop said, the man lifted his eyebrow as he turned his attention to me.

"Okay, thank you Juan, you can leave now" The guy behind the desk said.

"Okay sir." Juan said and turned on his heel and walked out of the room.

"So my dear boy, what trouble have you been causing in the orphanage?" The guy said, propping his elbos on the desk.

"Well, what happened was there is this girl that is obsessed with me, but she didn't want to admit that she had feelings for me, and when this couple came and wanted to adopt her and her brother she said that she loved me, but I didn't want to know, the next thing I know she pulled out a gun and pointed it at my head, I tried to stop her but she never changed her mind, when she pulled the triger, Jenny, a woman that worked at the orphanage, jumped infront of me and she got hit by the bullet. The girl ran to her body and cried on it, thats when her brother and the others entered the room and she blamed the whole thing on me. They called the cops and said that I was the one that had the gun and shot Jenny. This is why I'm here now.” I said, lookig at him in the eyes, covering the lie.

“Well son, what is the name of this girl that has a crush on you called?” He asked.

“Charlotte Roberts, sir” I said “Her brother is called Bruno Roberts, and the couple that adopted them was gay, I dont know what their names are” I continued.

“Okay, so do you want to go back to the orphanage?” He asked.

“Do I have a choice?” I asked, crossing my arms and restingback on the chair I was on.

“Well, you can always come and stay at my place, see how you go and I might adopt you, it's only me and a dog, sparkles, my wife named him” He said, looking at a photo on his desk with sad eyes and I couldnt resist but ask what happened to her “She died, two years ago in a robbery, she got shot in the head” He said, with tears in his eyes but I could tell he was holding them in.
