Time Stands Eternal - A Vampires Journey Through Life

A New Beginning

The year 1837 chilly air filled the winter night. The moonlight cascading down over the old looking Manson sitting in the open field close enough to see London. Shivers slowly creeping their way up the spines of the cold and miserable crowd. In the distance, the commoners could hear the faint cries for help of a young woman. The screams slowly grew quieter. The air stood still time felt infinite in that one moment. And in the blink of an eye time passed. Everything continued business as usual for the status quo. Unlike the locals of this town, there is one person who was completely horrified. William stood submissive to the overwhelming feeling of terror he couldn't even take another step. Frozen in place as if he was paralyzed. Terrible thoughts raced around in his brain faster than he could fully comprehend. "What the hell!" Completely startled he finally broke free from the control of the overwhelming emotions and jumped away. The hand that was recently lain on his shoulder belong to a young woman. Beautiful and seductive in nature; her eyes blue like the ocean and her teeth whiter than the finest ivory. William couldn't help but gander upon the beauty that he so abruptly made a fool of himself while in her company. William bows and states "Mam I apologize for the abrupt behavior I'm new to town and I just feel a little spooked."

The mysterious well-dressed woman's gown flowed in the breeze of the cruel weather."Such a gentleman not many men are as chivalrous as you." Only a woman of high stature could possess something of this value William thought to himself. The woman chuckled a little and said well yes I'm obviously rich. William stepped back shocked at what he had just heard. How could she have known am so transparent she can read me as if I'm a piece of literature. "I apologize if I have startled you, sir.". William regrouping stood up straight and replied: "Madam there is no need to be sorry any fault there maybe is of my own account.".

The woman curtsied as she performed the common tradition for the woman she made eye contact with William. When William's eyes finally rested upon the angelic presence that stood before him he felt a pit in his stomach. As the woman's smile grew wider it revealed 4 fangs; two on the top and two on the bottom. "Oh dear me I'm so clumsy". William heard from behind him; before he realized it she was behind him with her hand on his shoulder. But this time William couldn't move. Such enormous strength like gravity forcing him to stay connected to the earth. His knees wobbling from the fear and strain of all the strength. "Such a pity I was starting to enjoy your company. But what's the difference your short existence is meaningless in actuality."

Williams's life begins to flash before his eye's life begins to slowly drain from his body. Drops slowly trickling down the woman's mouth down onto Williams's shoulder. "Please god save me I have been loyal to you." The woman begins to laugh hysterically in a condescending way. "Is your meaningless existence that important to you William? Well is it?". He replied fear clouding his mind " Yes please I'll do anything just don't..... DONT KILL ME PLEASE!". "Oh, I do like when they beg for their meaningless lives. Ok, William, I'll spare your life. Thank you he replied. "But there is a catch William. I own you know your mine but for that, you still kinda have to die." A loud crack fills the dead of the night.

A sound so audible the song of the crickets nearby was completely drowned out. The woman stands over William as he lies on the ground his souls completely retreating towards the empty void of nothingness. Grinning from ear to ear she drags her nails across her wrist and presses it to the cold and blue lips of the man who once was alive but now is dead. The woman now gazing at the moon thinks back on her past lives realizing the curse she is passing down to this man caught at the wrong place and the wrong time. Dismissing her thoughts she exclaimed enthusiastically "THE REAL FUN WILLIAM BEGINS NOW.".
