Flashback...

"Krist, I want you in my room. Now!"

I stared with confusion on my phone.

I was in my office, and dad just told me to come to his room. With how his voice sounded, I don't think I am going to hear any good news.

"Mr.Yan, please send these files to Mr.Kevin and let me know about his further plans on the product."

I gave the documents to my secretary before I got out of my seat to meet my dad.

On my way to his room, I saw Ice looking at me with terrified eyes.

"Krist, Mr.Perawat called you?" His voice was filled with fear.

I raised an eyebrow at him in confusion, "Yeah, is there any problem?"

Ice fidgeted in his place for a minute.

"Krist, your dad came to know about you and Singto."

My breath hitched. My heartbeat started to race and I felt ready to faint down.

"H...Ho...How?" I stuttered. A whirlpool of emotions running through my mind.

"I don't know exactly. But I saw someone entering the room and then he called me to his room. He asked me about Singto and you. I tried my best to say you both were friends but he found the truth soon."

I sighed.

"It's okay, anyway one day I have to tell this to mom and dad."

I looked up at Ice who still had the worried glance towards me.

"You do remember what happened to your brother, right?"

I sighed, remembering how my dad kicked off him from our family just because he was in love with a man.

"I know. Let's look at how this goes."

Ice walked towards me and squeezed my arms before I excused myself to go to dad's room.

My steps halted infront of dad's office. I could feel my muscles tightening. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, imagining the sweet smile of my lover, the way his eyes would look at me with concern when he takes care of me when I'm sick. The sweet melody of his laughter echoed my ears.

I can't always push my love for my man. Maybe this will the only chance I get to overcome my fear.

My eyes opened slowly, I straightened my back and knocked on the door before entering.

Dad was facing his back towards me, his eyes on the glass window, looking at the busy city outside. He had a cigarette in his hand which was producing smoke and spreading its scent all over the room.

I remembered how Singto had sulked with me for smoking, he was the only reason I decided to quit smoking.

"Dad..." I called out slowly.

I thought I was prepared for what was coming, but I was not.

Dad turned his gaze towards me with his angry eyes, glaring at me.

He walked towards me, standing a few feets away as he threw pieces of paper onto me.

"Care to explain, Krist!" Dad growled.

My eyes gazed onto the floor as I examined the papers.

Those were photos of me and Singto.
