Chapter 19

Lorenzo's POV:
"Signore! Mi mancate!" I turned around and Kygo entered, panting.

"Hey" I said in a usual plain note and he looked at me.

"Cosa è successo a William?" I asked, talking business straight.

"He will be taken care of by noon, capo."

"Bene!" I smirked and he nodded in return.

"What's the plan?"

"rapire quella cagna e buttarlo nella nostra stalla". He said.

The thoughts of William's blood in my hand flashed my mind.

"Quel bastardo! Bene! Rapporto asap!" I smiled. Kygo nodded and left the place.

Heading to the garden, I found papè with Lina. Hugo stood there, his head low, Lina at her worst temper again.

Papè smirked for a second and started grinning.
"What's going on here?" I called out.
Lina looked at me, her fists balled.
"Whatever......" She muttered under her breath and left the spot, leaving behind a surprised Hugo.

"Listen?" Saachi called and I turned around.
"Please stay indoors, you are likely to catch infections" she said.

"Stop it. Don't order me around." I blurted, but regretted the second it slipped out of my mouth when all the colour on her face drained and she turned pale.

"You need an injection." She said slowly.
"Whatever. Finish your work and let me go. I have things to do rather than just wandering about in the house the whole day like you."
"Okay, stay here." She said and left.

I laid on the bed, staring at the ceiling.

William has to die.
First kidnap that ****** from his house, kill him and throw his distorted body back into his own house.

No. I'll let him rot in one of my barns for months with just one morsel of food and no water at all.

Or maybe kill his family right in front of his eyes. Yes. He should know the pain.
He should know the pain.

He should know what it feels like when someone he loves dies right in front of his eyes.

I'll give him the same pain he gave me.

"Lay still, don't move while I'm injecting" Saachi's voice brought me back from my cloud of thoughts back into this world.
I obeyed, since I had no mood or energy to talk back.

Slowly, I drifted off to sleep.

Maddelyn's POV:

I ran to Ma and engulfed her into a hug.
"How are you?"
"Good Ma, I missed you." I said.
"He'll change." She started.
"Who, Ma?" I asked
"Lorenzo. His serotonin levels were down. I've administered anticonvulsants to treat IED."

"Whatever, that doesn't mean I he changes, I'd call him dad"
"Now that's on you, Lina. I can't talk anything about that." She said and left.

"Ma, I'm getting my degree day after tomorrow. So you gotta be there for the celebration to see your daughter flaunt in her beautiful robe and hat"

"Wow! We'll sure be there. I'm proud of you" Saying this, she took me into a bear hug again.
"So you, Cheryl, Kygo, Hugo and Ruben."
"Lorenzo will be there too" she said, raising an eyebrow.
"Why him?" I asked, cringing.
"He's your father, Lina"
"No! He is not" yelling this, I left the room without a second thought.

Walking out, I reached the front porch and found Greg smoking his pipe.

What a luck!

Ignoring his presence, I kept walking out and heard his annoying voice.

"Hey! Where are you going?"
"How's that of your concern, may I ask?"
"Ofcourse, tesoro! It is of my concern. Hm, let me see. I think you'd look sexier in a velvet dress rather than these oversized hoodies."

Anger swirled in me. I wanted to hit this bastard on his face so hard that he would never give me that stupid grin or smirk. Never again.

"What's going on?" I heard another annoying voice.

My kismet is just great, today.

Watching the father-son duo gave me more annoyance than ever and my adrenaline levels were shooting.

Vexed about not being able to react, I left the scene cursing his stupid Papè under my breath.

I left the mansion. I yelled at Kygo for letting me alone, asking him to leave me alone. He argued a bit but gave up eventually and let me go after fixing GPS in the car.

I drove straight to her place and face timed her. She said she had gone to her aunt's place and I cringed.

Turning on the speakers, I played demons by imagine dragons and started driving  towards Starbucks.
