only after felix had proposed the hangout idea, he forgot to ask seungwoo for permission. he sighed to himself, putting his phone down as he stared out the window.

"it's in 3 days, there's no rush…"

felix sighed again to himself. he was off on this day, because it was a delivery day, and felix wasn't legal to drive — he didn't know how to in the first place, anyways. he watched as the rain spotted the dry earth of the ground, ruining its once perfect image to create another perfect image.

there was a knock on the door.

"felix? are you here?"

felix stood up quickly from the bed at the sound of that oh-so familiar voice. he unlocked the door and quickly opened it, coming face-to-face with his former soulmate.

felix smiled. "san — why are you here?"

"to explain stuff," san said, a gentle smile on his lips. "can i come in?"

felix held his breath for a bit. "s-sure." he stood to the side and allowed san into rhe apartment.

"woah — nice place! better than mine, anyways," san complimented, finding a seat on a couch. "come here."

felix sat beside san, feeling slightly frightened for whatever reason he couldn't even fathom. san smiled for a moment, turning his body to face felix better. felix clasped his hands in front of him as he waited for san to talk.

"well," san began, "i just wanted to say congrats — dating changbin hyung. that kinda leads to my first piece of news — i'm… kinda heartbroken. i… i liked you a lot, felix, but… i guess this was inevitable, huh? i mean, we weren't really close in the past, but we were good friends. i grew to like you a whole lot, but then you left. i forced myself to move on, and i fell for wooyoung along the way — but then you returned.

"i made it my goal to make you mine, but i realized that i just wanted you to be happy. and if being with changbin hyung makes you happy, so be it. i want what's best for you — if it means giving you up, so be it."

felix stared for a bit in silence. "what happened with wooyoung?"

san looked up brightly. "that's my main news — we're dating now! he's really sweet, and it made me remember why i liked him in the first place. he's really shy, and i just want to protect him."

felix laughed a bit. "yeah, he was really nice to us both. he's perfect for you, really."

san smiled. "i plan to treat him well. which why i came here to tell you that i am officially not in love with you anymore! i love jung wooyoung now, and i plan to keep it that way."

felix smiled softly. "we can stay friends, right? speak about our boyfriends behind their backs."

choi san laughed. "most definitely!"
