" She's awake! Get the doctor!" says a nurse. I panicked and tried to get up. As soon as I did I screamed my lungs out. God, it hurt like h***! I opened my eyes and saw Sierra and Katelyn, and my mom an dad, all crying. As soon as they saw me open my eyes they ran over to me.
Sierra was first. " Oh my God Aubrey! Are you okay? I was so worried! " she says. " uh, yeah I'm fine but your squishing me, I can't breath!" I gasp. She laughs and then katelyn comes up to me, mascara running down her cheeks. We hug for what seems like an eternity.
We pull away and she tells me that while I was getting beat up, Nash had pulled her away and talked to her. " He was crying and just a mess. He told me that he still loved you and that he is only doing this because after you guys broke up, he got anger issues." she said
" He said he needed you and that he wanted to stop hurting you, but he couldn't. His Heart told him no, but his Brain told him yes." she continued.
Tears filled my eyes and she wiped them away. " don't let them get to you." she wispered. I tell her bye then my mom and dad come running over to me. They were non- stop crying and wouldn't let go of me. All they could manage to say was," I love you." or," I'm so sorry."
" Times up! She's going into surgery!" Says the nurse. They all leave an then a sweet looking woman comes in. Then, she tells me the worst news possible.
" Well, you were beaten very badly. The most damage was in your back. You were slammed against the brick wall several times. You have broken you back. " she states.
Tears fill my eyes and I just cry and cry. They both left the room and I was alone crying. I don't know how long, but after a while they came back saying I had to get an ex-ray and surgery. I nodded and they took me in.
They rush me in and they give me some medicine to make me sleepy. As soon as I take it I pass out and then all I can do is dream about living through this.
