Chapter 33

*2 weeks*

"How long has it been?" I asked Sean when he came down the steps.

"Two weeks." He said coldly.

"I don't know why you're doing this, Sean. You can do way better than this. Being behind bars will change your life."

"Oh well. There's nothing I can do. Besides, I don't care." He shrugged.

I just glare at him and he returns it with a grin.

Tom comes down the steps after a bit of silence and tells Sean to go back upstairs.

"What the hell do you want?" I snap.

He leans down to my level so he's looking into my eyes.

"So you treat him nice than me?"

"Well he's my brother's friend."

"Was your brother's friend." He corrects.

I just look at my hands and realize how dirty they are.

"Do you have anything nice to say?" Tom then asks.

"Yeah. How about fuck you." I say.

He's able to put his hands between two bars and punch me in the face.

I look at him and he leans in.

"Watch yourself now, Brook." 

He gets so close and that's when I take the opportunity.

I grab him by the collar of his shirt and slam his face repeatedly against the bars until a bigger guy rips his shirt from my grasp.

"Grab the knife." Tom manages to say before walking up the stairs to clean his face of all the blood.

The bigger guy opens my cage, straps me to the chair and grabs the knife.

I start to struggle, but it's no use.

I'm screwed.

He takes the blade and slashes my arm. They aren't deep, but there's enough to make a lot of blood causing my right arm to look like it's made of blood.

That's when everything gets fuzzy and he unstraps me from the chair and throws me back in my cage.

"One more thing." He smiles.

"Goodnight." He says and that's when he picks up my cage and with all his force, throws my cage across the room at high speed and it slams into the wall on the other side of the room.

The impact causes me to slam my head against the bars and go out cold.
