Jeremy sits on one of his sturdy brown oak-like wooden chairs outside his average slim tall house that has window panes that seem to enjoy clapping away it's remaining time before Jeremy would decide to replace it with something more behave. And as he ponders deeply about whether or not he should replace it, a fork smashed through the window breaking it to smithereens. Jeremy refused to accept the fact that now he ACTUALLY has a reason on why he should replace his window. He takes a deep breath, stands up and walks towards the back of his house.
"Mr. Jeremy?" Lim peaks through a different set of glass since the other one might just pierce through her delicate skin. She's rough but not that tough, okay? Lim sticks her head out trying to scope for the tall walking lamp pose named Jeremy. Jeremy on the other hand sneaks through the back door, quiet like a rabbit as he backs down on the floor then... GRAAAAWH!!! Lim screams and falls from the chair she was on top of, pure terror on her beautiful ocean eyes. Jeremy catches her and puts her back on her heels. "Now tell me young lady, why did this fork go sonic boom through my window?" Flailing his arms as if he were imitating the not-so-fortunate fork. Lim laughs at his actions and said "I was trying to play darts but I couldn't reach the darts sticking through the circle wheel that has colors on it, and the fork was basically the next big thing!" Jeremy's face contorted into a confused 'w h y' type of face as he tries to process on why this 3 year old would even be interested in such a sport. "You know what?" He kneels down to reach her level and placed his cold hands on her shoulder. "You remind me of myself from like the birth of time or something." He smiles. "What? hahaha" Lim laughs "Here, I'll tell you everything.."
~FLASHBACK 18 YEARS AGO~
"Mommy! Why are there workers everywhere?" Jeremy yanks his moms apron as he floods her with questions about the city. "Jerry, I don't quite understand why you're so inquisitive and curious about the world. You should just be thankful that we're even allowed to stay alive and be secured in such a pretty place!"
Jeremy sighs and crosses his arms. "Alright.. But when I grow up, I'd want to be someone who could fly, fly out of here and discover new lands and places and, and another beautiful place!" His starts to be filled with hope as he vomits out every dream that he has in his system. His mom let's out a sigh that just sums up everything that she's about to say. "Look Jerry, everyone in this town has a role to play. Whether you'd be helping the water plants, the cafeteria or the power generators. No one's leaving until they've fulfilled the parts that they have. Stop with your nonsensical dreams, it'll just leave you with even more disappointment."Jerr- I mean Jeremy, looks down as he questions why can't he achieve it, I mean his father always told him that anything could be done as long as you put your heart in it. He drags his body up the stairs, hearing the old squeaky planks screech as his heavily stomps on them. Poor boy just wanted to explore the outsides of the walls caging the people in and giving this false sense of security. It was then when he has started to lose every drop of hope that he had, but his parents believed this was yet another phase of him maturing and the wishes that one day he'd understand.
