I, and Jamie walked down to the neighborhood park. We swung our arms childishly holding each others paw like best friends do. Suddenly, Jamie let go leaving my arm hanging limply.
"Last one there is a moldy fart!" He called back to me charging towards the playground. That sneaky little otter-fox I was going to prank him some time.
"No fair!" I called to him running to the playground.
He reached there first. He knew all the short cuts. I finally reached the playground. There I saw Jamie sitting comfortably on the cement blocking the mulch from spilling out of the playground. "Hello, Moldy fart!" He playfully joked.
I saw there were some other animals our age on the playground. "Hey, why don't we suggest playing tag with them?" I suggested to Jamie.
"Sounds fun," he replied.
And so we did exactly that. We split up gathering kids and asking if they wanted to play, Most of them said yes. When we had a pretty good sized group we played 'not it' to see who would be it. That didn't work out at all, so we ended up doing 'rock, paper, scissors' to figure out who would be it. It ended up being a tiger named rocky. He had played against a lion, the lion did paper, and rocky did a rock, What a surprise.
We played for a bit. But then, I spotted it.
It's black and yellow body, raised up on his thin delicate legs. The patterns yellow patterns running down its head.
"JAMIE!!" I screamed running around like a madman to find him.
"What is it?" He asked running over to me.
"Squish it, squish it, squish it!" I cried out pointing to the yellow and black spider.
"But it's so tiny and harmless."
"Please just squish it!"
So, Jamie squished it. He wasn't proud but he had to for his friend. "Dude, you have to get over your fear."
"How can I get over that!? Their so scary!"
"I think I might know a place"
Hope you liked the first chapter! I'm actually really proud of this. Not all my updates will be this long, I didn't have internet and was bored so I went on a writing spree.
