"Lady Y/N? Your father would like to speak with you. He's in his study. He says its important so you should hurry!" I hear my personal servant, Akahana, say. "Alright I'll be right there" i answer
I get up from my desk and put down the book i was reading. What does he want now?
I walk down to my father's study where he was waiting for me.
"Hello father? It's me Y/N. May i come in? I ask, trying to be polite.
"Yes, come in. I have something to speak to you about. Have a seat." He says.
I sit down in the chair on the other side of his desk and prop my legs up on it.
"Young lady put your feet down" my father says sternly.
"Fine. You're no fun" i say, annoyed.
"I called you here for a reason." He says.
"Like what?" i ask, sassily.
"I have arranged a marriage between you and the son of King Endeavor, Prince Todoroki. This marriage will give out family lots of power and more land. You are expected to bear a son who will become heir to the throne next"
"What!? No way in hell will i do that! This is bullshit! You can't make me marry a man I've never met! I want nothing to do with this! This is madness! I refuse to marry some stuck up prince for 'power'!!! I'M NOT MARRYING HIM!"
"Young lady! Watch your tone! You will marry this man! You have no other option, now go to your room!"
"I hate you dad! You can never make me marry that man!" I yell, crying while running to my room. I make sure to slam the door hard enough for the whole house to hear. I start crumple to my knees and start sobbing. "I will never be forced into marriage. I'm going to run away into the forest. I know how to use a bow and a knife. I'll be able to protect myself. I'll pack now and leave tonight." I say quietly to myself.
I pack commoner clothes, hunting clothes, food, water and tools to make a fire. I get my knife and put it into a sheathe then tie it around my waist. Then I grab my bow and my quiver filled with arrows and sling them over my back. I put on some light chain mail under my outfit so then I'll stay somewhat safe. It took me a while to pack. It's now dark. Time to move.
