Being from a small town in the middle of no where. You knew everyone. But I knew only 1 person best. My best friend Jordan Elizabeth Smith. Jordan and I have been friends forever.
It all started with my older brother and her older brother. They were close. They did everything together. It was like a bromance.
Now me and Jordan are just like them. Only we are girls. We are inseparable. We play soccer together. Have almost all the same classes together. I call her mom my mom because if I am not over there. She's over at my house.
But this was the last year of all of that. She's moving to Louisiana. Her dads job moved down there. Being from upstate New York, Louisiana seemed so big and far away.
Jordan and I walk to David's Dairy Treat. We order and sit down. "So.... Are you excited to move down there?" "Lexi! I am so scared. It is going to be so different. I know nobody! Come with me, please?!" She exclaimed. "Jord, I would if I could! I doubt my mom will let me go down to Louisiana for the school year." I reply. "I know. I wish though. " we finish up and walk to Jordan's house.
Once we get to her house none other than Austin Larabee is standing outside. He likes me. And don't get me wrong. He's hot, but I don't really know him.
He meets us halfway "What are you guys doing?" He asks us. "Going to Jordan's house." I replied. "Oh cool. Did you just come from David's?" "Yeah." Jordan added in. "Do you guys Want to go down to the lake tomorrow?" Austin asked. I looked at Jordan. She nodded her head, "Yeah," Jordan said.
I finally get done talking to Austin. He's really nice. I'm excited for tomorrow.
Jordan calls me "Hey Lexi, sorry but I can't make it tomorrow! I have to pack!" "It's ok. I will just go with Austin." I reply. "Have fun!" She says. We both hang up.
Maybe I will end up liking Austin who knows..
