There he was. KO was bruised, scarred and a bloody mess. Every movement was full of pain. KO still moved and moved. He was determined to see his friends, Mr Gar and his mom. She was his main source of energy.
Finally, KO saw the plaza. Centimetre by centimetre, he was getting closer. Inside the plaza, he saw Enid crying on her favourite counter. Rad just sitting down, probably praying to see KO again. He wanted to go to his friends and make them smile again, but he was exhausted, close to fainting. His mom was more important in this situation, as she is probably depressed and is blaming herself. That wasn't true, it was nobody's fault.
Finally, KO reached the dojo. He listened carefully and heard her mom cry. KO knocked on the door, and Carol stopped crying. She didn't want to cry in front of people. That is the reason everyone thinks she is tough. Finally, the doors opened. She looked around and saw no one.
''Must have been a prank'' She sighed.
KO cried out one last time before he fainted. Everything became blurry and dark. As he closed his eyes he heard his mom calling out his name.
Then, nothing.
As soon as she saw KO, she ran to find help. She didn't have a phone so she ran to the plaza.
Enid was still crying on the desk as she said: ''Hi welcome to the bodega, can I get you anything.''
''Do you have a phone I can use?'' She asked in shock.
Enid immediately stopped crying, because it was Carol, KOs mom. She took a quick glance at her and saw KO. She threw the phone at her and she quickly called the ambulance. She got in the ambulance in with KO. Rad and Enid followed them with Rad's van.
When they got to the hospital they carefully placed him in bed.
Then they waited.
