The next day.

I walk into school and meet up with my friends.

"Hey China, how was soccer yesterday" Brandon asks me.

"Good, I think I'm gonna do it" I say.

"Sweet now we can go watch you play!" Austin says. Sophia glares at me and Austin.

"And Soph! Soph plays too!" I tell him.

"Oh yeah, and Soph too" he gives her a nudge. She gives me a soft smile and we head to our classes.

I sit down and get my stuff out when the door opens and two boys come in hyping Zion up. They were his best friends Edwin and Nick.

"Aye everyone see him" Nick says pointing at Zion. "He's the reason we finna win tonight"

"Let's go Titans!" Edwin screams. Zion laughs.

"That's enough boys. Please leave my class or I will get the principal and both of you will sit bench at tonight's game" ms. Barker says. They flee.

"You guys gotta game tonight?" I ask him.

"Does it matter?" He replies mocking me from yesterday. My face goes red.

"Yo I'm kidding" he laughs. "Yeah we do, at 7, you going?"

"I don't really go to football games" I say.

"Oh cmon. Everyone goes to football games" he says.

"I did freshman year. Haven't been to one since" I said.

"Alright. You're going tonight"

"Eh I don't think so" I slightly laugh.

"Cmon China. It's senior year" He says slightly pulling my sleeve. I wish people would stop telling me that. "Please. For me?"

He pouts his bottom lip. I felt like I couldn't say no. Why did he want me to go so badly?

"Fine" I say giving in. He smiles.

"You won't regret it. Just keep an eye out for number 3" he says pointing at his jersey. I smile. Maybe this could be fun?
