The streets were dark as she left the club, and eerily quiet. Her feet were sore from dancing in the silver stilletoes her bestfriend insisted she purchased.
" Damn shoes." She mumbled as she took them off, holding them by the thin straps.
Lighting strikes in the distance, illuminating the dark form infront of her.
" I have a job for you." He said. His face hidden by the hood of his sweater.
" Who doesn't nowadays." She answered. Something was off about this guy. Not one of her usual costomers.
" I'm willing to pay you five hundred thousand dollars if you do this job quickly. If not, then you'll see." He said lowering his voice menicingly
" Threats don't scare me." She said with a roll of her dark brown eyes, " I've killed dozens of men without a second look."
In a flash she was pressed against a brick wall, knife to her throat, he leaned in close and whispered-
" Becca! " My father yelled, startling me. My fingers skirted across the keyboard accidentally deleting everything I wrote.
" No! " I cried, staring at the screen in utter horror. " Why, why, why, why? "
I went into insane mode and began singing to my computer for a good five minutes; " Baby come back! You can blame it all on me!"
I had spent the last two hours writing that story, and I was almost done. Then this happened. Fifteen pages gone. Forever. I deserve to go insane for a few minutes.
I yelled in frustration.
" You freaking idiot! "
" I didn't even do it yet! " Noah said behind me.
" I wasn't taking to you.'' I said spinning around in my chair to face my twelve year old brother. He was all blond hair, and blue eyes, like me, accept he has freckles across his nose and cheeks and the cutest dimples girls go crazy for.
" Oh,'' he shrugged, " well Dad wants you. It's important."
I sighed and stood up stretching. Noah turned to leave.
" Wait, what were you going to do? " I asked suspiciously, raising an eyebrow. He turned to me.
" Nothing." He smiled, a wicked gleam in his eyes. Then ran down the stairs.
" Noah you better not go in my room, I'm paranoid from the last prank you did! I can't even walk around in my own house without looking over my shoulders every five seconds to make sure your not gonna dump a bucket of grasshoppers on me. " I yelled running after him.
" First of all it was crickets, not grasshoppers. And second of all the snake I threw on you in the shower ate all of them so it's not like they went to waste." He said turning around.
" You are and evil little creature aren't you?" I glared at him.
" I try. Oh, and Jason called." He teased.
My face paled. Oh God what did he say?
" When?" I asked slowly.
" This morning." He backed up a step.
" What did he want? " I said advancing on him.
" To see if you wanted to have dinner with Ashton and Mason. " He bit his lip to keep from laughing.
