I woke up forgetting that I slept over Mia's house last night. I got up changed my clothes did my

makeup and put my hair in a messy bun. I went into Mia's room and she was grabbing her

backpack. She looked up at me and said "you ready?" I grabbed my backpack "yup" we left the

house and headed to the car. We got in and she started the car and left. I must have fallen asleep

because I woke up to Mia pulling into the school parking lot. I saw Nathan getting out of his car

and he looked toward me and smiled. I rolled my eyes at his confidence and reached into the back

seat to get my backpack. Me and Mia said bye to each other and headed in opposite directions.

I looked at my classes for the day and I was happy that I had biology last. I went to English first

where I sat in the back with Mia. It was the only class we had together. It was also the class where

I made my one and only friend. We was my only friend because she was the only person I knew

that didn't screw me over. The bell rang then Mr.perry started talking about a report that we had

to get in by Monday. I fell asleep while he was yelling at this scrawny kid who was sitting in the

front.

I woke up and headed to info tech I finished the rest of my classes except for biology. I walked

into Biology and I saw Nathan talking to some girl who had curly blonde hair heels a short skirt

and a tank top. I rolled my eyes and said of course I had to be pared up with some damn player.

When I got closer I said "umm Barbie get out of my seat." she looked over at me scowled and

walked away I sat down in my seat when I saw Nathan looking at me from the corner of my eye. I

looked up at him and said "What?" He just shrugged and said "Nothing" I was getting pissed now

and said " Then why we're you staring at me like some friggin pervert?" I cold tell hat he was

trying to hide a smile. The bell rang and I breathed "finally." I was never so exited to do work in

science. Mr.Grey said "Today we are going to be taking a test then doing some partner work." I

though in my head "kill me now" Mr.Grey handed out the papers and I looked at the test and said

to my self "I don't know any of this shit" I wrote down what I thought was right and handed in the

paper. I turned to go back to my seat when I tripped over some kids backpack and almost fell on

my face when Nathan caught me in his strong arms. I looked into his eyes and let my hard down

for one second then he put me onto my feet and I walked to my desk with my heart beating so fast

I thought it was gonna jump out of my chest. Why did he always make me feel like this when he

touched me. I thought to my self it's nothing calm down. He sat down next to me and the bell rang

I grabbed my bag and almost ran out of the room. I kept thinking to my self "he's a player" some

Some other part of me was thinking " People can change" I laughed when I thought that because

ever since I was 5 I kept thinking my parents would change. I thought they would stop drinking,

doing drugs, abusing me and the list goes on but they never did and never will.

I left the building and started walking home i started thinking I couldn't wait till I was 18 and I

could move out I would be 18 in two weeks. I grabbed my phone and put " A kiss" on then I felt

something wet landing on my nose. More rain drops started falling until it was pouring I

screamed "Fucking perfect!" I was 10 minutes away from home well it's not really a home so the

place I live for now. I put my phone away so it wouldent get wet. I couldent call Mia because she

was heading to her boyfriends house. I heard the sound of a car comming down the street and

slowing down until it was about 10 feet in front of me and stopped the window went down and

then I saw Nathan's Face in the dim light he smiled and said " Hey do you want a ride?" I looked

Over at him and thought he is so hot I quickly got that thought out of my mind and said "No

thanks" I saw a flash of disappointment in his eyes and said "You sure." It started raining harder

and I ran to the passenger side opend the door and got in. He looked over at me and said "where

am I going?" I said "Turn right on Davis road go straight then take a right on high street" He

nodded And I said "Can I put a cd in?" He said "sure go ahead." I looked inside my backpack and

took a Eminem cd out and put the cd in. I put it to 25 to life and I saw Nathan smile a little.

I looked at him and said "what" he said "nothing Eminem is my favorite rapper" I let my guard

down for a little bit. It couldent hurt me. Could it? I said "Same here" I started rapping softly

under my breath and he did the same then the chorus came and I sang to that he smiled and I

blushed. What the hell is wrong with me I never blush. He started rapping to "almost famous" and

he was really really good I looked over and smiled. He looked over at me and paused the song and

said "what" I replied " Your a really fucking good rapper!" he chuckled and said "In my spare time

I Rap with some of my friends I wrote a few songs" I was shocked and said really and he did that

sexy chuckle again and said "yeah do you want to hear one" I nodded in agreement and he took

out I'd phone and the song started playing " I looked up at him in amazement and I saw him

smile I said "my house is comming up soon. Send the songs to me." He said "i need your number"

I grabbed his phone and put my number in the phone. I gave him back his phone and said "my

apartment is 2 streets over." He nodded and out of nowhere I said "rap to me" he chuckled and

started rapping the eminem part of drop the world. I smiled and listened to most of the song then

I pointed to the shitty old house in the projects and he pulled to the curb and got out I smiled and

go out I closed the door I heard him get out and I said "what are you doing?" he smiled and said

"you forgot your phone I went to go grab it and he gave it to me and said "bye and I'm giving you a

ride home from school tomarow" I smiled and said "Maybe bye" I ran inside the buliding and got

inside the elevator. I pushed the 6 button and waited to get onto the 6th floor. The elevator door

opend and I went to the door and opend it. My parents weren't home so I made some food took a

shower and went to my bed and sat down and I kept thinking that he was going to hurt me but

another larger part was saying he wasn't I decided to go with that larger part.
