I got up slowly and looked out the window to see the sun rising, I got up and walked down the stairs. "Hey guys" They were all awake except for a tired Soda, they had Mickey Mouse on. I walked to the couch where Soda slept, i cupped his soft fast. I kissed his forehead a couple of times until his blue eyes were opening, when he saw me he grinned. "Hey sweetheart, good morning" "Good morning, lover boy" I got up and walked to the kitchen to start on food, I decided to cook some eggs and bacon.
We all finished eating, Pony had food on him. Soda noticed and got a napkin and cleaned him up, I giggled on how much of a mother Soda is. My mind just kind of wandered off because I had realized I haven't went skating in awhile. "Hey which one of you guys wants to go roller skating today?" "Sounds boring" Dally spoke The rest of the boys nodded their heads to my idea, and Dally looked slightly embarrassed. "Fine but I won't like it" I rolled my eyes, I walked over to the phone that hung on the kitchen wall. "Should we call the rest of the gang, to see if they want to come" "Yeah, I bet good O'l Darry would want too"
I got out of the hot car, I waited for the rest of the gang to arrive. The second car arrived with Steve, Keith and Darry. They got out and we all headed inside, the cool AC felt nice because we were sweating lots. We paid... Darry paid and we all got our skates, I could see Dally struggle to even move on the carpet. I skated to the rink with ease, along with daddy who looked like he was a professional. Soda and Pony held onto each other trying not to fall. Steve and Twobit goofingly got in, while Dally was having a bit of trouble. "Wow. Need some help cowboy?" He gave me a death glare and mocked me in a dumb voice, I rolled my eyes. Surprisingly no one was there except for us, so I started out fast. I saw Steve try to pick speed but he failed and fell, Darry did the same but he didn't fall. I went to Soda and grabbed his hand. "Let me show you" He nodded and I started out slowly making sure he didn't fall. He got the hang of it pretty fast, his large soft hands gripped my waist when he almost slipped. When he caught balance, we laughed and continued. I had butterflies in my stomach every time we touched, of course Twobit was making jokes. The gang was goofing off, Johnny and Dally weren't skating though they were just there, I guess they were just scared. When Soda got the hang of it, him and I were skating together at a fast pace while Darry was far ahead of us. I slipped and fell right on top of Soda, I was sitting on his lap. "Uhh" "Oh my! Soda are you hurt!" I moved forward to look at his face. He shook his head so I got up and gave him a hand up. We skated toward the gang, and the gang looked at Soda. "Wow I think there's a rock in Sodas pants" Twobit joked Sodas face turned a bright pink and when everyone looked down, the whole gang laughed but I stayed quite with me being pink as well. "See what you're doing to him Y/N?" Steve chuckled. I slapped his arm, and Soda walked to the bathroom. Darry skated towards us. "Where'd Soda go?" "To relieve himself" Dally yelled from the bench. Darry looked at me and I made a 'what' face and he just gave a laugh.
We got in our cars, I sat next to Sodapop while Dally drove. It was silent except for the radio was sharing music. "So. How's your day?" I started to spark a conversation. Everyone shared their answers but Sodapop stayed quite, I put my hand on his knee and looked at him. "Soda" "It was good" I could tell he was still embarrassed. We arrived at the Curtis house and he got out quickly, we went inside and Darry was already making sandwiches for us to eat. It was getting dark and Soda grabbed my hand and pulled me outside. "I'm sorry." "About what?" "About making today weird" "You didn't make it weird, you made it fun. I like hanging out with you guys and especially you, don't feel sorry about something so little." "Calling his d*ck little?" Two called from the screen door. I rolled my eyes and closed the actual door. He laughed and I looked up at his beautiful blue glistening eyes, I saw him getting closer and closer. He was taking to long so I crashed my lips into his and it didn't take long for him to kiss back, this was more passionate than our other kisses. When we were done we heard the window bang, when we looked we saw Johnny, Pony and Dally pressed against the glass making faces. I flipped them off and kissed Soda one more time before heading inside, Steve looked at us and then finally just looked at Soda and smirked. "What?"
