"Pass the ball over here!" Palette called out. Paperjam threw the basketball to his brother, who shot it into the hoop.
"And he scores!" Paperjam exclaimed. The ball bounced off of their driveway.
"Nice shot, broski!" A voice laughed. They turned to a boy wearing black rectangular sunglasses that read 'YOLO' and a golden tooth in his wide smile.
"Thanks!" Palette smiled proudly. The boy bounced the ball against the ground, into PJ's hands.
"You take a shot. My treat." PJ smiled, throwing the ball to him. The boy chuckled, throwing the ball. It went through the hoop flawlessly, bouncing on the ground and against the garage door. It bounced to PJ's feet. He simply stared at the boy, jaw dropped as the ball bounced passed his feet.
"That was amazing!" Palette exclaimed.
"Wow..." PJ managed to whisper.
"Heh, thanks." The boy smiled, picking up the ball as it rolled to him again. He picked it up, spinning it on his finger. He stopped, holding it as he walked PJ's way. Paperjam blushed a bright pink as the boy put the ball in his hands.
"T-t-t-thanks..." PJ mumbled. The boy lowered his sunglasses, letting PJ see the most beautiful eyes he's ever seen. His right eye was a rose pink and his left eye was a black void except the upside down heart with a magical purple hue.
"I gotta go now." He said, pushing his glasses up. PJ snapped out of his trance and noticed he was leaning forward a lot. "See you on the flip side, bros!"
"Bye!" Palette waved as the boy rode his heelies away.
"See you again..." PJ mumbled, holding the basketball to his chest, blushing as he watched him roll away.
