"you know, your brain cant make up faces.. so you must've seen him around somewhere"
"i fucking know stanley! i just, know for a fact i haven't seen him anywhere."
"theres really no way of knowing, though, eddie"
it is true, you cant make up faces. but the brunette boy definitely would have recognized richie by now if that was the case. he's never seen anyone as beautiful and charming. richie swept him off his little feet, even though they only met in dreams every now and then. it hurt, deep down, because eddie knew very well the affectionate and caring black haired teenager he loved more than anything wasn't real. his heart ached acknowledging his one true love, the person he cared for most doesn't even know he exists, if of course, he is real. all he could think about is the way richie would call him 'my love' constantly in his dreams."ben what the fuck?"
mike muttered as the bigger boy picked up a book about death and murder. mike didn't really know how or why that book was still on the shelves, but he didn't really want to know anyways.
"do you have any change?" asked ben,
receiving a head shake. he disappointedly put the novel back where he found it. the two walked out of the Derry library that has always radiated a scary and uneasy feeling. most believed it was haunted, as others just saw it as a library, nothing special about it. ben and mike both grabbed their bikes and rode off to who knows where next."you're so cute, my spaghetti head. what did i do to deserve you?"
eddies face turned a vibrant red as he adorably grinned. usually, he found the nicknames 'eddie spaghetti' and 'spaghetti head' awkward and silly, but he found them cute from time to time, if richie worded it correctly. the two boys talked while in each others arms for warmth, barley any space between their bodies, as eddies room was quite cold. yet, they still denied the fact they were anything more than friends. they were too scared to admit to themselves those feelings existed, because, you know.. getting rejected isn't the funnest thing ever. richie quit rambling and decided to just stare into eddies enchanting, chocolate colored eyes. it was the most romantic thing that has ever happened to both of them, although not many other people would consider it too romantic. eddie has never experienced such intense butterflies in his stomach before. he couldn't describe the way 'trashmouth' made him feel. He tightened his grip around the smaller boy in his arms. 'fuck it, whats the worse that can really happen?' he thought to himself as he moved his face closer and closer to eddies.. their lips finally touching. they have both been wanting this to happen for so long.
"eddie bear?"
the door opened immediately, nothing either of them could do quickly enough. they pulled away from each other in an instant, but it was too late.
"hi mommy..."eddie shot up at once, realizing his mother was standing next to his bed. "good morning eddie bear. you should get ready for school now. your breakfast and pills are ready for you downstairs, sweetie" Sonia claimed before leaving his now awfully lonely room. he no longer was in the love of his lifes arms... he sighed and rolled out of bed, his hair and absolute mess.
what would mommy think if she knew i kissed a boy in my dream. if i liked boys...?
