"Wait Eddie you got married?!"

"Yeah is that so hard to believe dickwad?!"

"What? To a woman?"

"Fuck you bro."

"Haha fuck you!"

"Please tell me you ended up becoming a doctor, Eds."

"No, I ended up becoming a risk analyst."

"Oh, that sounds interesting. So what does that entail?"

"Yeah, so I work for like a big insurance firm and-"

The trashmouth and comedian rose out of Richie Tozier. Lola had not seen him like this since the losers club when they were kids, being a lot quieter when they moved away from Derry. But as Eddie Kaspbrak spoke of his job, comedian Tozier snored, making the red-haired woman laugh.

"Fuck you dude. Fuck you."

"Was this job invented before fun?!"

Lola did what she always used to do. Act invisible, blend into the background. She sat beside her husband and her asperatic best friend, playing with her rings upon her fingers. It was a nervous habit for both Lola and Richie.

"Princess?" she flinched at the hand now placed on her arm. Her hazel eyes lifted to see the soft eyes of Richie. Even after all these years, he never really cleaned his glasses properly, "are you okay? You are so quiet tonight."

"I'm okay. Just...nervous."

"What about, love? What's wrong?" Richie moved his entire body to face his wife, both his hands now holding her one.

Lola shyly smiled, "it's okay, we don't have to talk about it now."

Richie took in a deep breath. He didn't like her keeping things to herself. It made him nervous. But he spoke with a simple, "okay," before bringing her hand to his lips and kissing it gently. He then returned to the group conversation while Lola's mind ran.

Why were they back in Derry? What was so important Mike needed all of them? Why the losers club?

"Mike, can I speak to you for a second? Alone?" Lola stood from the table, pushing the chair in politely after her.

Mike just nodded before standing himself. Richie, however, was very concerned.

"Lola, what the hell is going on?"

"I'll just be a minute," she smiled before trying to walk away.

Richie had grabbed hold of her hand, pulling her back to him and kissing her gently on the lips.

"Yep, I didn't miss these two pashing it on."

"Suck my dick, Eddie."

Mike followed Lola out to the foyer of the restaurant. Like Lola had always done, she wore a dress. A white one like when she was just a teen. Mike could still see the young Lola in the grown woman.
