One week later

We were found shortly after that whole incident, and locked back up in the asylum.

They made sure to really start locking the doors at night, and making regular security checks around each block so that something like that would never happen again.

Dee was going to be okay. She had a broken toe and lots of cuts and bruises, but otherwise she was going to be okay.

Everyone else was fine, and we were also able to still have courtyard time.

Today, when I had gone to the usual tree that we always hang out at, something felt kind of different.

I sat down and waited for Dee, but she didn't show.

Neither did everyone else.

I asked around as to where she was, but everybody ignored me.

Then, a car ran in through the gates and hit me.

And that was when I woke up.

I was still in my room, with everyone that I knew, and I was drenched in sweat.

I sat up, breathing heavily, and Eddie ran over to me.

"What happened?!" He asked.

"Where's Dee?!" I shouted.

"Who the hell is Dee?!"
