The clock on the wall of the lecture hall inched closer to signal the end of the school day, but it dragged slower as always. Just like the rest of the class, I felt restless today, bored and unable to pay attention to Mr Stewart's lecture. He was our collage's favorite, most handsome professor only at 39, making most girls swoon over him. I didn't really share their enthusiasm; One because I already had the campus' most desired guy wrapped around my fingers, and two because that's my father. I don't support incestuous relationships.

"Woooh my wife really looks prettiest when focused." I was interrupted by the noise of pictures being taken of me. Adrian Baxter, the school's biggest clown, who unfortunatly happens to be my boyfriend joked, making his group of friends chuckle loudly.  I moved his hand off of me when I saw my father narrow his eyes at our direction.

"Adrian stop joking aroud! And please tell me you have a good news from.....you know where....." I whispered, his face softened and he took a seat beside me. I swallowed the lump in my throat and moved closer to him. Adrian's father is our city's sheriff, which actually explains Adrians smart skills and sense of justice. I was a law student. He was a student at the school's athlete department, studying to become a detective. I was our class' president, and he was practically the school's visual with the perfect model-like athletic features, deep-ocean blue eyes and dark hair, sometimes resembling young Henry Cavill.

"Rian and Adrian, pay attent-" My dad was interrupted by the school bell ringing as the mass of students filed out of the lecture hall.

"Let's hurry!" I mouthed to Adrian, but not before intertwinning our hands and dragging him behind me towards the exit door. It didn't take long before we arrived outside the campus where  we passed by some of his gangster friends bullying some kids from the Engeneering department. Evil jerks.

Me and Adrian arrived our familiar hideout behind the campus building and he pulled out his camera that he always carries around. The pictures contained the anonymous letters the police station were talking about in the local newspapers.

"So do I get any reward for my devotion..." Adrian whispered, his breath much closer to my face than anticipated. My eyes were closing reacting to his hands moving up from my hips, over my stomach and past my sides. His hot breath traveled up my neck until his lips collided with mine. I kissed back automatically. Wait...This asshole was really getting horny at school!...

I hit his down-south manhood, causing him to halt. "AAH...you just-" I interrupted his potential dirty remark by giving him another knee before leaning into his ear.

"You good for nothing moron, if you keep up this deviant behavior at school, you might end up murder by my dad." I whispered into his ear, playfully kissing his neck then pushing him away.

"You evil wench he lives right next to your room and always hears your loud moa-" I crashed my lips against his, forcing him to shut up. "Shut your mouth! The entire school can hear your dirty remarks!" I scolded him. He smirked, but decided to become serious again.

"So uhm...The letters are believed to be put there by someone familiar with both the victim and the culprit. There is no way else to explain it." Adrian pointed out, I nodded my head agreeing with him. Adrian was indeed a troublemaker, he disliked annoying people and he always spoke up his mind, but this time I was at fault; I forced him to do something he could be expelled for.        "Rian, tell me the truth please....why are you so obsessed with the murder case of Madison Ray? You didn't share any close relationship...." He trialed off, staring at me suspiciously. I panicked.    I  hit him over the back of his head. "You pervert! Whatever you're thinking is not accurate!"       He smirked mockingly. "Ooh, Fifty shades of Rian. I wouldn't really mind if you had a secret girlfriend." I knew his perverted mind was imagining stuff.

"Sometimes, Adrian, I swear you expect a fair amount of gossip....just like a girl." I scoffed. He raised his eyebrows, prompting more information. His detective instinct was scary sometimes. "She was my brother's girlfriend. And he hasn't been himself since her death, he's become depressed and barely talks to us at home." I allowed. "He has nightmares Adrian.... he wakes up shouting and lately he's been sleeping in my bed with me. I couldn't help but investigate the reason behind his sudden change of character." I explained.

By now his eyebrows were so high they were practically touching his hairline, wide open-mouth. "He sleeps in your bed....with you..?.." What? What had I just said?

"He's my younger brother you pervert jerk!" I retorted defesively. He laughed, quick to protect his head before I could slap him again. Adrian and I grew up in the same neighborhood since we were babies, making us the perfect match made-in-heaven.

You see, my story isn't that clichè girl-next door story where the main character's parents died either in a car crash or is adopted, where she has a crush on her childhood bestfriend and her father can't stand her boyfriend.

Honestly speaking Adrian's relationship with my father is the cutest thing. I had a happy childhood with no trauma, an intelligent-loving father, an obedient younger brother and a childhood bestfriend turned boyfriend to always bully during daytime, and fuck during nighttime. My life couldn't get any better.

"If I were you, I would suspect why my brother changed so suddenly....."
