Chapter 1
The school day was nearly over the children were ecstatic ready for the holiday. Excited to play on the Xbox however it was raining like there was a river in the sky the window was drenched in water there was a vast amount of cars outside in the parking lot, the regular sensible cars of the teachers and the occasional black sports car driving past. Always there is one child staring out past the window and he noticed a strange man coming in through the gate in a radioactive suit coming through the main office door clutching an ID card no one had seen before and then the speakers connected to the microphone in the head teachers room started to fuzz and then a voice ‘’ Whatever you do keep inside the building and do not let anyone inside if they have a bite anywhere on their body, a deadly virus seeped in through the air vents of my work facility causing an unknown series of effects.’’ As soon as the class and probably the school heard this it turned into complete chaos then there was another man who looked ordinary started to walk straight towards the window where Sam was standing, he was limping as though seriously hurt he wasn’t running considering that there was supposedly a dangerous virus. Sam who was the one staring out the window was transfixed on the man and his face was like he had seen a ghost. He looked like this because that man was dead, half corroded and half eaten by the other monsters out there.
That was how it started that was ten years ago my name is Jack I witnessed the start of the zombie apocalypse now I am eighteen years old still inhabiting the school I was being taught in when it first occurred, I am still here with three of my friends luckily the cars of the teachers were still in the parking lot we drive to ware houses around the area looking for food that would not make us ill and stuff that was still in date. We will eventually have to set up base somewhere else in search of food since we have been here we know practically everything there is to know about zombies, the wifi is still on the computers it is very weak however it still works, there is electricity but Sam has to work with it cause his dad was an electrician and we have Harry who is a black belt in karate when he was eight and then we have Michael who is an expert at science he can make bombs with chemicals and radios with a bit of wire and a battery and me what can I say about me I know how to use a firearm, I didn’t know my parents and I owned a lot of bb guns. I have the most knowledge of zombies I know that you don’t have to be infected because you have breathed in the toxic fumes of the virus you just turn because you died, one of the kids committed suicide and everyone wanted to know where he was however when everyone went to find him he bit the teacher and practically all the school became zombies however the army came round and gave everyone guns for self defence and we killed everyone in sight apart from each other and I know that zombies will not remember anything from when they were alive the zombies will turn on their past family personally I don’t think there is anyone left out there and then I heard a police siren, turned out I was wrong.
