"Where to now Hagrid?" i ask. i felt as though i had known Hagrid my entire life already.
"well we'll come back to getting you an animal in a minute but for now we'll go uniform shopping! You'll need a tie, shirt, skirt and robes."

We walk past the three broomsticks and head into Gladrags wizardwear. I watch as Hagrid has to duck under every doorway to avoid getting hit. A woman appears behind the counter roaring with excitement to see possibly her 2000th customer of the summer.

"Welcome dear! here for a uniform fitting?" The doe eyed woman asks me.
"yep hogwarts!" Hagrid answers for me.
"please wait here i'll be with you shortly."

I sit down on the nearest seat per her request and wait for my uniform fitting. suddenly the bell attached to the door rings as a family bustles through mid conversation.

"This is the fifth time you've lost your robe and school hasn't even started yet!" a woman shouts at her daughter. The girl doesn't reply to her mother's words, not even listening to her, head in a book named "the chronicles of the skank ogress". Her hair is long, blonde and coarse with a silvery tint. Her posture slightly
wonky due to the many books, i presume, that she carry's on her back. She stares at me and after a few seconds smiles. suddenly a small twig thing emerged from her pocket. "Peanut! come back!" the girl yells. I jump back in alarm not knowing what that thing is. "Don't worry i teach care of magical creatures i know how to catch bowtruckles leave it to me." Hagrid explains to me, giving the girl back her pet.
"Thank you so much Hagrid. peanut i keep telling you to stop!" the blonde girl says to her twig creature
"it's alright Phoebe." Hagrid says "just my job innit luv. Taking Sophie around to get her things for a new school year, i'm sure you'll be great friends you two but for now i'll see you in care of magical creatures."

Phoebes mother drags her out the shop with a new hogwarts robe in her hand i wave to phoebe and say goodbye in hope that i'll see her around hogwarts this year.

The woman comes back out from behind the till, "ready for your uniform fitting? come along deary!" I follow her into a room. "now deary slip into these and come out when you're ready."

I put on the tight blouse and button up each button one by one. I pull up my skirt and zip it at my left side, it came up high above my knees. i walk out of the fitting room and turn to Hagrid. "Does this fit me Hagrid?" i ask him.
"oh er yes sophie," he moans softly under his breath as i watch his hand resting on his trousers twitch. "sorry, come on let's pay and then get the rest of your stuff, have you thought about what pet you want?"
"uh yes a cat."

We wander through the twisting cobbled street as i pass by people who look completely bizarre to a normal person. "Goblins, witches, the lot." Hagrid says to me as if he's able to read my mind. "How have i never seen them before?" I ask inquisitively.
"Often times they don't leave the wizarding world, besides muggles don't notice anything either." Hagrid replies.
"muggles?"
"Non magic people. Sorry i forget that you never got told any of this when you were a youngun."
"You said dumbledore had a lot to tell me about my parents. what do you mean?"
"Never mind you'll find out another day but for now we need to go to get you a cat. Oh er by the way sorry for what i did in the uniform shop."
"what did you do? i didn't notice anything." i lie.
"er nothing let's carry on." his ears flushed red and walks on ahead of me.
