"Sir? Hello? Are you okay?" Light was in the middle of a flashback, of his sister's death. You know, the pale look on their faces. Dead people faces? Whatever.
Her white dress was covered in blood.
He and his sister had been playing outside, like usual. But, there was an unusual man heading towards them. "Move. You're in my way." The man pushed Mariette away with the top of his sword. It instantly pierced her body with the slightest tap. The sword went straight through her chest, like a straw in an open cup. "Sir!!" Light snapped out of the flashback. He ran out of the grocery store, without paying. He stole, but he normally did. He was kind of a thief. He headed back to his house, which was actually a bar. He lived with his dad, who could die from age at any minute.
In a while, he arrived at his house. "Hey pop. I got dinner.. sorta." Light put a cup of noodles on one of the bar tables. "Why, thank you, Light. I'm famished." Light's dad came out from behind the counter and grabbed one of the noodle cups. He opened it and smelled. "Ah. My favorite flavor." He went back behind the counter and got a pot. He put water into the pot and poured the contents of the cup into it. While his dad made his noodles, Light just sat down at one of the tables and began fiddling with his hair. "Hey, pop. Can I get a beverage? Preferably, beer." "No, Light. You may not." Light groaned and popped his knuckles. "I'm going out. I'll be back."
Light walked out of the tapper and walked around town. He saw two other people around his age. They were fighting. Well, it looked like it.
There a punch, there a punch, here a kick, here a punch. Light walked past them and thought for a moment. He turned around. He stared at them for a while. He watched how they fought. He couldn't catch everything that they were doing, though. Eventually, the two stopped fighting. They shook each other's hands. Somehow, Light mustered up the courage to ask them how they fought so fast. "Woah! How did you guys do that?" "Do what?" One asked. "Fight so.. fast!" "Oh, you mean our IP?" The other said "My name's Torichu, if you wanted to know." Said Torichu, the first one to talk.
