Chapter 2:
I stared into his chocolatey eyes for what seemed like ages, but sadly, it was only a few seconds. Our hands touched, sending fireworks, sparks, sizzles, atomic bombs, you name it, through me. I couldn't help but smile. I quickly pulled away, blushing. Gosh this was awkward. Was I really falling for him? I mean, I only met him about 30 seconds ago, but still.
"Amy? Hello? Are you okay?" He asked with a concerned expression. I didn't realize that I must have zoned out.
"Oh, yeah... Uhh.. I'm fine, just sort of zoned out for a moment, that's all!" I quickly responded back. I looked down at the ground, trying to hide my burning cheeks from him.
"Oh it's fine. Happens to me all the time!" He said with a smile. "So where are you from?"
I thought for a moment before saying, "Well I was originally born in America, but when I was three my dad got offered a job in London, so we've been living there ever since"
"Oh that's cool. Where in America?" He asked with a interested look on his face.
"Seattle, Washington. It's really pretty there." It's really pretty there? Wow I'm lame. "So what about you? Where are you from?" I questioned trying to keep the conversation going.
"I was born in Wolverhampton. It's really pretty there too." He said with a grin. I couldn't help but smile back at his humor, which made my heart pound even faster in my chest.
We stopped speaking for a moment, our eyes wondering around the gym. More and more people were gathering, and there weren't that many seats left, so a lot of people had to stand.
He then turned to me and asked, "So how long have you been going here?"
"Since year seven, so four years. It's really nice here, I'm sure you'll love it. But it's bound to change considering there are about 200 new students here, all of who are boys." I explained.
"Oh yeah, well I guess that's sort of expected. So you're in year eleven?" He said.
"Yep, are you?" I replied back.
"Yes, actually I am." He smiled, "And so are my four friends over here," pointing to the four other boys sitting beside him. Then, one of the boys with curly brown hair and green eyes began to talk.
"Sorry, we were not able to introduce ourselves to you, Liam tends to hog people, especially pretty girls." He said with a cheeky grin. Liam's face turned bright red as he buried his hands in his palms.
"I'm Harry by the way." He added holding out his hand to me, I gladly took it. Liam lifted his face from his hands, and gave Harry a death stare. Then a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes spoke,
"I'm Niall," He said. I noticed he had an Irish accent. How cute! Then the boy sitting beside him with dark hair and eyes said,
"I'm Zayn, And thi-" he was then cut off by the guy sitting next to him screaming,
"HI! I'M LOUIS!" He said while lunging at me sticking his hand out, which almost made me fall out of my seat. I quickly regained my composure and shook his hand.
