The clouds in the purple sky seems to swirl by fast as I go round and round, my sight spinning but i do not feel dizzy. The frilly skirt that i am wearing twists in a beautiful way as the wind pecks my skin. My feet tapping the tiles rapidly but delicately as I move swiftly in the same way for the 43th time. I close my eyes and focusing on the movements of my right hand.

"Focus Grace. Slow, steady and sturdy." The voice of someone boomed throughout the empty marbled tiled room.

Oh, how clear the town sounds are today.

I open my eyes as I focus on my breathing for the next step. I want to rest now.  I say mentally as I begin to step north while holding my dress in a loose fist as I move, moving my head to the dainty movements of my feet as the mellifluous sound flowed all around me. It seems to flow to the direction I move as daffodils and lilies bloom all around me with a nostalgic smell.

A smell so unknown but so dear; it chilled me to the marrow.

"There is it, mi amor... you look beautiful."

I simper as I calibrated my final steps. My grip on the dress looses as i let it go competely from my grab as I begin to augment the last few steps.

"Honey you did well..." the voice said again but this time it sounded satisfied, proud and reverberating

I kneel as I take huge gulps of breath as i heard footsteps approaching. I look to my left side and there he is. Grinning. His smile is so ethereal. I have never saw a smile so beautiful. So beautiful that it takes aways your breath. But his face. A face so distorted. Distorted evrytime we meet but not that smile. That smile was still genuine as ever. I touch his face who was now kneeling beside me. When are you going to show me your face?  I do not have the courage to say it so  continue to look at his black void of a face.

"You wer...  gre... t...  as...  ev...  r..."

And the voice began to fade again with his figure into glaucous nothingness.

"... ness gracious! Dulce, wake up! We are late for our club meeting!" The familiar voice of a woman jolted me awake as I quickly sat up and frantically moved my eyes to search the source of the voice. Ah, it's Maddy. My childhood best friend. She was busy  taking clothes out of my cupboard. Probably setting my outfit for today as I sighed tiredly leanign back down in the comfrot of my bed. I examined her face. Plain vanilla like others. Naught distorted like him. "What's plain vanilla?" I must have said it out loud.

"Ordinary." she turned around with an astounded expression. Ah, here we go again.

"Ah, you did not just call me ordinary." I snickered at that. As soon as she came to tackle me I rolled off the bed and dashed to my bathroom, quickly locking it from inside. "I won! It's your turn to buy me ice cream!" I shouted as I reached for my brush. A faint "Not fucking again!" caused me to chuckle.

The sky was purple today. I looked at my watch, "It's weird to have purple sky even if it is evening." I mumbled mindlessly. But it's pretty. Just like my dream. I again looked up, observing intently as the clouds swirled by slow, unlike my dream where the clouds were driven fast by the air current. I closed my eyes as I took in a deep breath and exhaled it out. I looked at the traffic post and noticed that it has turn green. I quickly began to walk in the crowd of people. I took out my phone to look at the address again. Le Violette. Two blocks away. "So much purple today." I tittered at the thought as I ambled along with the cars passing on the road.

I let out a heave as I took in the sight. The building was colored black with a bright white sign which read Le Violette. The design was modern and simple. It looked as if it was constructed on a small patch of land. I took hold of the handle as I pushed the glass door open. "Ok, definitely not small." It only looked small from the outside but surprisingly had an abundant space. I remember that I did not know actually knew what Maddy's brother looks like nowadays. We yet have to talk after he returned from South Korea. It has been four years already. Dude's face should have changed by now.

I fished out my phone as I quickly texted her asking for Mateo's image. Wait, his name was Mateo, right? Or was it Matthew?

Well, we are not even close, to begin with. We are just meeting up to discuss Maddy's wedding plans. As her bestfriend this is event is a huge thing for me.

I decided to walk to the counter to order something to drink in case he has not to arrive yet when my phone vibrates. Sliding in the pattern it reveals a message from Maddy. A picture. Picture of a man smiling with all his teeth out. Long chocolate brown wavy hair and big brown eyes with a pointed chin. I take a closer look. He looks like a young RDJ. Oh well. It became easier to locate him. Like, not everyone has the privilege to be as handsome as the freaking Robert Downey Junior!

I looked around trying to find this unique face and as expected he had not arrived yet. Ordering a cold coffee and two slices of black forest cake, I took a seat near the window. Giving me a clear view of when someone was going to enter the café.

The bells rang halting my scrolling through Tumblr. It was a young RDJ.

Wait, young RDJ!

"Mateo!", I half-shout as I waved my hand. His head snapped so fast towards my direction that I feared he might have dislocated his cervical vertebra. He smiles big as he walks to me with big strides.

Damn those long legs.

"Hey! Uh, I am sorry! I am late right? The traffic was really bad! I hope you did not wait for too long!?" Why do I feel like all of his sentences just now ended with an exclamation sign? And god, was he heaving like a mad man.

"Don't sweat it. I didn't want-"

"Your orders arrived ma'am," Placing a cold coffee and two slices of cake down, the waiter offered a huge smile. I returned the smile with a thank you. I looked at Mateo, "Wanna order anything?"

"Yeah, orange juice,"

Before I could stop it or even think it through I blurted out "WIth black forest cake?" with a face. I am sure I made a face. "Oh, this was for me?" Mateo said with confusion written over his face. "Well, I wasn't going to eat these two by myself though I can." I ended with a giggle escaping from my mouth. He gave a quick smile to the waiter correcting his order from orange juice to chocolate smoothie, Muttering a 'coming right up' the waiter disappeared behind the counter.

We sat there not saying anything. "I didn't wait for too long by the way."

"Oh, that's good!"

Again the awkward silence fell.

I tried to look subtly at him, trying to take in the details. He was wearing a loose black sweatshirt with the words "Black" stitched on the chest in white. He was also wearing black sweatpants with black and white sneakers."He matches with the exterior design" I quietly snicker at the thought. He had his hair loosely swiped back with two small clip earrings on his right ear's lobule. I try to take a closer look and noticed that he was wearing white cat clip earrings.

Now that was cute.

Deciding to break the silence with a weird remark (I never learned how else to break it) I said, "You talk in all exclamations you know that?" I chuckle as his ears grow red. "Ahh... I was excited to see you so..." he pauses looking down and probably shuffling with his hands on his lap trying to find the right way to deliver his words.

"You've got some great earrings there," I say giving him a breaking from his traffic of thoughts as I offer a genuine smile. The way today's society is, I am sure he had needed a bit of courage to wear those feminine clips.

He laughed as he said that his mother said the same too when he had bought. I take a more closer look and yes, he definitely rocked those. A bad boy outfit with a RDJ face and cute earrings. What a combination.
