All I seemed to do was work on fighting everyday.
I enjoyed it, of course. It was my passion since I was young, when I used to fight with my brother by a test of strength. It had changed now. Notch and I grew apart, went our separate ways. I knew it would happen eventually; we were two sides of a coin, always different, good and evil. I think many considered me to be the good one of the two of us. Wherever one of us were, the other one was too. Maybe it sucked but I was happy. Nothing lasts forever though, but I felt free.
It continued like this for quite some time. A girl sometimes joined me. We both fought and trained in a peaceful silence. Often, she would come with bruises from fighting the local terrorizor, my brother, Notch. I think we had both come to the conclusion that we had to get Notch to stop this, there was a bigger threat. The lore of the Ender King, 'God' if you will. The girl was beautiful. Y/n was her name, she only said it once, but I never forgot it.
"Notch," I recall saying to him the day I met up with him, " you need to stop terrorizing everyone. We can unite and find out if the legend of the Ender King is real."
"Yeah, plus your reputation will go up because of this quest!" She said enthusiastically.
He considered the option for quite some time, but I would've too. If the Ender King was just a myth, what would we be considered? Fools? There was too many possibilities to know the answer.
I wanted to regain Notch's reputation and make him happier, like when we were children. I knew in my gut, somewhere deep down that this would would work out.
We set out the next morning on our quest.
