A butterfly trapped
In a cold prison cage.
Fighting with bravery
In depressions last stage.
Fluttering his wings
Against hard metal bars;
Trying to break free,
From all the scars.
Pushing harder for life,
Longing for fresh air.
Wings, broken and tattered,
Never to fly anywhere.
No nectar of hope,
To suck, to keep strong;
Took one final breath,
But struggled too long.
A butterfly was trapped,
In a cold prisons cage.
Fought with bravery,
On depressions last stage.
