Love and A Bestfriend {A OneDirection Fanfiction}

Chapter 1: The First Day

Elizabeth Monroe was one of those girls that never really could strike it rich with love. She had a crush here and there, but nothing she ever felt was real. She was one of those, quiet, keep-to-herself kind of girls. Never really found herself caught up in love, or one of those fairytale relationships. None of it ever seemed real to her. 

Liz was shorter than most people, with medium length dirty-blonde hair, and beautiful hazel eyes. As every girl is, she was very insecure about herself. Never thought she could measure up to all the other girls, especially her bestfriend.

Alex Kane was Liz's best friend. They had known each other since they were three and did everything together. Alex had long straight blonde locks, with deep blue eyes. She was the kind of girl that did what ever she wanted, played by her own rules, And had no problem getting any guy she wants. You can say Alex and Liz are two separate people, but one at the same time.

It was the first day of her Senior year. She honestly could not contain the excitement. Being the oldest in school, privleges and the senior trip to Madrid. 

"Wake up Liz. You dont want to be late for your first day back at school." Her mom yelled up the staircase causing her to jump. "im awake mom." she yelled back annoyed. This was it. New year, no mistakes. 

She quickly got ready for school and headed downstairs. She looked out the window to see Liam had just pulled up. Good. She wasn't late. 

"Hey Liam! Ready to start the school year?" she put down her book bag. "No. I wish we had 3 more months of summer." Liam said looking sad. Liam Payne had been one of Liz's other best friends. 

He had short brown hair, with chocolate brown eyes that could make any girl melt. Liam came to her school in 5th grade. They immediately hit it off. He drove her to school every morning for school, thats why they had become so close.

They pulled up and saw Harry, Louis and Alex walking in. "Wait up you guys!" Liz screamed as she hoped out of the car. "Liz! Its so nice to see you! Its been like a month." Harry said while hugging Liz. "Its great to see you too Harry." 

Harry Styles was the most beautiful creature on earth. He had curly locks of brunette hair, with brilliant green eyes. Liz and Harry have always been like bestfriends, so it would be weird if they were something more. It was the same with Louis. They all had been best friends since 2nd grade. 

They all chatted awhile about how they miss summer already, and some gossip that was going around. It was good to be back with her friends. As the bell rung, they all scattered in their separate ways. Except for Louis and Liz because they had Calculus first together. Louis Tomlinson was as gorgeous as Harry. With ocean blue eyes and brunette, straight hair. "So watcha been up to Liz?" Louis said with a cheeky smile. "Ehh. Same old same old." Liz chuckled. "Has Alex been ignoring you too for her boyfriend.?" Louis asked sounding depressed. "That was very blunt. But yes, i didn't expect her to change after she got with Scott."

They walked into Calculus right as the late bell rung. Louis and Liz sat together in the back so they could basically talk the whole time. Liz looked around the room to find a new kid. Boy was he gorgeous. Bleach Blonde streaks. Light Blue eyes. He was just completely beautiful. She couldnt help but stare, until he caught her. Their eyes locked on each other until Liz, being the shy girl she is, looked down at her desk.

"You alright love?" Louis asked as he waved a hand in front of her face. "Yeah yeah. Who's the new kid?" she asked as she looked up again. "You've gotta stop staring. He'll notice sooner or later." "Yeah your right." She wafted her hand over the matter. "Do you know anything about him?" Liz locked her eyes on Louis. "Oh well it looks like you'll find out now." Louis said as she looked confused. Oh Boy he was walking up to her. What was she going to say? He slowly approached and said "Hi. Im Niall."
