AU :
The survivors' button eyes serve as a source of sanity. Ripping out both of them will drive the survivor mad and they will attack any hunter in the vicinity due to seeing them as a 'threat'. It would take one mad survivor to slightly injure a hunter, and two or three to severely injure one. To return the survivor back to sanity, one must sow the survivor's buttons back onto their face. It does not matter who does it.
Notes:
• If the survivor is not near a hunter, then they will instead go to the nearest other survivor and try to rip their buttons off.
• Since the buttons are sowed into the survivors' faces, it is extremely painful when taking/ripping the buttons off.
•Mad survivors are prone to uncontrollable bouts of laughter at random times.
•When a survivor is near the hunter to long their fear might become to much and could drive them into madness.
•Unlike when buttons are removed, sowing the mad survivor's buttons back on is generally not painful.
•The amount of damage done to a hunter depends on how high of a 'threat' they are and the type of survivor.
•Some warning signs of a survivor starting to go mad are: Random giggling, clawing at oneself, twitches, and heavy breathing.
•(I hope the AU isn't overpowered or Mary Sue Q^Q)
