The car ride home was silent, I keep thinking to myself 'did I do something wrong? Did I say something wrong? Was it wrong for me to protect my mate?' I shake my head and dig my phone out of my purse 'you did nothing wrong Talula' my wolf Jasmine says in the back of my mind 'It feels Like I did something wrong, he won't talk to me' 'Maybe he is just thinking of something to talk about' I push Jazmine Into the back of my mind and looked over at Draven "Draven did I do anything wrong? Did I over step back there? If I did please let me know" Draven pulls the car over and turns it off before turning in his seat to look at me " Talula you did nothing wrong, you did not over step back there, as a matter of fact I am glade you stepped in, if it wasn't for you I would have hurt maybe even killed Julia" He reaches over and places his hand on mine " I'm glade that you stepped in, you did well for just getting your Alpha blood, you handle that situation like a True Alpha" I smile at him and turned my hand to lace my fingers with his " Thank you Draven" He smiles and turns back in his seat and starts the car not removing his hand from mine he holding my hand for the whole ride home.
When we got back to my house or as most of the pack would call it the pack house. Draven shuts off the car and lets go of my hand to get out of the car. Before I can even open my door he already has It open for me " Why thank you my handsome Beta" He smirks at me and holds out his hand for me to take and I do. He helps me out of the car and shuts the door behind me. Before I can even walk away he grabs my hand and laces his fingers with mine. We make our way to the front door of the pack house and before I can even open it it comes flying open revealing Venus " Alpha Talula, Beta Draven, good to see you" she puts her left hand over her heart and bows before she turns around on her heel and walks back Into the house.
I look at Draven confused and he just shrugs his shoulders. We make our way into the house and I stop dead in my tracks as I see everyone from the pack " What's going on? Is everything ok?" Rocco turns around and I can see that he has been crying " Talula yo-" he can't finish his sentence because a loud sob cuts him off. I push my way through the other pack members and see my mother on the ground crying over my fathers life less body "W-what happened!?" Alex puts his hand on my shoulder " Roughs, they attacked the pack while we where at school, your father and the rest of the pack tried to stop as many as they could"
A sob rakes its way out of my body and I collapse to the ground next to my mother. I grab my fathers cold hand into my warm one "w-why wasnt I informed of this?" Draven asks as he puts a hand on my shoulder " We called the school to have them let you both know. But by the time they got out to the parking lot you both where gone" Rocco says "why didn't you use the mind link?" Draven growls out " W-We tried, we couldn't reach either one of you" I look up at Alex and he kneels down beside me and pulls me and my mother in for a hug.
We both sob onto his shoulders while he rubs our backs. We sit there for a while until I pull myself together 'I must pull myself together I am the Alpha now' I pull away from Alex and stand up as he wraps both arms around my still sobbing mother. I wipe my eyes and turn around to the rest of the pack "how many Roughs attacked?" Venus steps up " twelve Alpha" I nod " Did we manage to get capture any of these Roughs alive?" "We managed to capture two Alpha one male and one female" I nod " Are they in the dungeons?" Rocco nods " Yes Alpha" I look at him and nod " Alright Let me go change then we can deal with this Rough" the pack members nod " Venus I want you to round up as many of your Selsa's you can and search the borders make sure there are no other Roughs left" Venus nods and rounds up her Selsa's before running out the front door " I need two willing wolfs who will watch over my mother until I am done" Alex nods from beside me " Ill stay with her Alpha" I nod at him before turning back to the rest of the pack " Ill stay with her as well Alpha" I look to my left and see Delta Lucas step forward " thank you Delta Lucas"
I look at the remaining pack members " I need the rest of you to prepare for my father's funeral, Delta Rocco, Beta Draven I will need you with me" Draven and Rocco nod as the rest of the pack run off to do what they where told to do. I slowly make my way up to my room and close the door behind me. I take a couple deep breaths before I walk over to my closet and pull out the clothes I will need to question this Rough

After I get my outfit on I make sure I have my gun strapped to my hip along with my knife before I make my way down to the livingroom. I make my way down the stairs and notice that my mother is now in the livingroom and my father's body has been removed " Alpha" I look to my right and see Rocco and Draven standing there waiting for me "Delta Rocco Beta Draven" I nod to them before I make my way over to the basement door. I open the door and make my way downstairs with Rocco and Draven behind me.
I open the door to my left and continue down a flight of stairs until I reach the bottom. I scrunch my nose up at the smell of decaying flesh " What cell is the female in?" Rocco walks up to me " The fourth cell, we have her chained up with silver" I nod and make my way to the fourth cell. I open the heavy metal door and see a skinny filthy looking brunette laying on her side chained up to the wall. I walk over to her and kick her in the back " Get up!" she groans and sits up her back still facing me "Turn around!" She turns around and looks at me " who do you think you are to be bossing me around little bitch!" I draw my fist back and punch her in the face. She spits out blood " you've got an arm on you little one" she laughs and looks back up at me.
"Why did you attack my pack?" She smiles at me " your pack? I thought the Alpha of this pack was dead" I crouch down Infront of her " Oh hes dead but I'm his daughter, he handed his rule of this pack over to me the second he drew his last breath" she laughs " Your the new Alpha? A skinny little bitch like you can't rule a pack this big" I growl and take my knife out of its holder on my thigh and I place it under her chin. He skin sizzling when the blade touches it " A little skinny bitch? Is that what you just called me?" "Yes thats what I just called you a skinny little bitch!" She spits whats left of the blood in her mouth at my face.
I wipe it off with the back of my hand. I dig the tip of my knife into her throat not enough to kill her just to draw blood " I will ask you this one last time, why. Did. You. Attack. My. Pack?" She smiles " Bite me bitch!" I nod and remove my knife from her neck and place it back in its holder before I stand up " Very well then" I pull out my gun and shoot her in the head. Her lifeless body falls to the ground with a Thud I put my gun away "Here Alpha" I look and see that Rocco is holding out a handkerchief " Thank you Delta Rocco" I wipe the blood from my face and tuck the handkerchief in my belt "shall we?" Rocco and Draven nod before moving and letting me out of the cell. Draven closes the door behind me after I exit the cell " Where is the other Rough?" Rocco points to the cell infront of us " Hes in there Alpha, he has been chairs to the wall just like she was" I nod and make my way across the hall and pull open the door. I make my way Into the cell and see a muscular male with long black hair. I make my way over to him and lift his face with my boot. When his blue eyes met my light blue ones my breath caught in my throat
