I blinked repeatedly like I was trying to make myself wake up. I had to have misheard him or I was dreaming. Because I don't have any family. "My brother?" I finally respond finding my voice again, even if was quiet. Shaking my head at the confusion, "I don't understand, is this a joke or something because it ain't funny! I don't have any family." I stated with tears burning my eyes wanting to escape.
" It's not a joke. I wouldn't do that to someone. I am your brother. " Roman says looking at me with concerned eyes "Look, I know this has to be a shock to you, but" ...
"Oh you think!" I rudely interrupt him. " Maui and his Merry Band of Chip n' Dales, shows up at my door and tells me I have family? " and the snarky me is back and pissed. "Tell me oh brother of mine, where has this so called family of mine been all my life? Hmm?"
"Did she just call us strippers?" Seth whispered, looking towards Dean. "Yeah, I think she did. Although, I think I'm more Magic Mike, Darlin." Dean replied smirking and looking at me while doing some little dance thing. I shook my head at his odd behavior.

Roman runs his hand through his hair and sighs heavily. Looking at me with sad eyes and a frown he just shrugged. "I wish I had known about you then, but I know now. And I want to get to know you, if that is something you'd be interested in." And with that, my anger towards him passed. It's not like he was one of my parents and chose not to have me in his life. The least I could do for both of us was talk to him, but this was not a conversation I was ready to have in my apartment.
"There's a diner about two blocks up. What do say we go there and talk. I'm pretty sure this a conversation that is going to require fries." I ask smiling weakly. He chuckles and grins back. "Yeah, I'd like that." I step back letting them into the apartment. "I'm just gonna go change, I'll be back in a minute." I say as I close the bedroom door. What does one wear to talk to a long lost brother? I had no idea, but I knew I wanted to be as comfy as possible so I piled my hair into a bun, grabbed one of my favorite shirts, jeans, and threw on my Converse. "Okay, I'm ready if you are."

I really should not be looking at Ro's little sister like I am, but damn if I can stop. She is not what I expected. I figured she be a female version of my brotha. I was so fucking wrong. And her attitude. Woah, she has some fire in her and all I want to do is get burned. But she's young. Way to young for me. I bet she's only had a few boyfriends. I'm getting irritated at the thought of her being with someone else. I gotta think about something else. Think about Roman, yeah think about what he would do you if he knew you wanted to see his little sister naked. Dammit!! Okay, that went the wrong direction.
Luckily the diner isn't very crowded. We get a booth in the back and wait for someone to come and our order. When I spot a big pile of blonde hair heading our way I can't help but smile. "Dez, how are you doin' Suga?"
"I'm good. How bout you? " I ask knowing full well she is about to go into some long winded story about something that someone did or said. "Oh, I'm good Suga, I'm good. Now who are your handsome friends?" She asks placing her hand out for them to take .
I laugh at the sight of the three guys looking at this heavily done up woman well into her sixties with big hair, 70's make up and more bangles than any one person should be allowed to own. " Maggie, this is Seth, Dean, and Roman. Boys, this is Maggie. " I introduce them each other. She shakes there hands and when she gets to Roman's she holds on for a little longer than the rest, then gasps and starts looking at the both of us. "Oh my word! Oh honey, you do have family! " She says excitedly. Then proceeded to smack my shoulder, "Why didn't you say anything?" She asks . "Maggie I just found out myself 20 minutes ago. I thought we'd come here and eat and talk. Try to get to know each other a little maybe. " I reply making a note to myself to ask her how she even knew about Roman later.
"Oh, of course, of course. Silly me, I just got so excited I forgot that I actually haven't even taken your orders." Maggie blushed as she grabbed her notepad out of her apron. "Do you know what you guys want? We have the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes for the special today." She says, still looking between me and Roman.
"That sounds great, I'll take that with a water to drink please." Roman smiles sweetly at her. "I'll take the grilled chicken salad and water to drink, please." Seth replied. "Screw it, I'll have a burger and fries with a coke. Thanks" answers Dean. She turns to me already knowing my answer. "You want your usual Suga?" she asks. "Yes, please." With all of our orders ready to go she takes off towards the kitchen.
Twenty minutes later and Maggie is bringing the last of our orders to the table. "Okay, burger and fries. Grilled chicken salad. Chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes for the newest member of our family." She smiles and winks at Roman. "And of course Double order of fries, chocolate strawberry milkshake no whip cream, and cherry coke with two cherries. If you need anything else just let me know Suga. "
