(Y/n) gets engaged by the one that destroyed sullivans titan as the two fight he slowly realizes that he is at a disadvantage against a more experinced pilot however he does enough damage to it how ever after a while the mobile suit damages BX shooting its arm off and than its legs til it can't hold a weapn however before he can strike the finishing blow reinforcments arrive causing the them to retreat from more titans coming

Verdun was a surprise attack as ZAFT not only destroyed ships titans also fired on civilians as well . The Millitia where caught off guard as MI (Millitia intelgence) screwed up which led to many deaths , but this would be the most killed in one single day 20,000 killed 90,000 wounded and 5,000 unacounted for and the destruction of 9 ships 300 titans destroyed .This surprise attack worked in favor of ZAFT the casualties being less being 200 mobile suits shot down and 7 ships destroyed but it gave what ZAFT goal was the capture of land . It was the first time that ZAFT and Milltia would fight and lead to the Milltia and ZAFT declaring war on each other but I know that ZAFT messed up just as bad as they had believed the base is where titan production was on the ground but really it was now on a ship which they failed to destroy a titan production in Hepilos than one on mars which is well defended. ZAFT had believed that the Millitia where nothing but jokes and that they could easily beat them but when the going gets tough we get tougher plus we have some aces up our sleeves.
