New Beginning

The last box of the day is filled with my filming equipment. I let it down into the empty gray room with a white rug and white trim. Three boxes total of filming. One small one folds both my camera and vlogging camera that I don't use to often and my laptop. Another is a large holding the tripod, lights and mike. And the last is medium sized with all my cords. Tomorrow we're going to drive down to the storage place to take anything that would look good for a background. Down stairs the sound of glass shattering echoes thought the air.

"What did you brake this time?!" I yell while walking to the stairs. Tyler is on his knees picking up large shards of a broken plate from the floor.

"Stop, you're going to cut yourself." I go into the kitchen and pick up the broom and dust pan that was rested on the wall. Tyler takes the tool cleaning instrument and sweeps up the mess.

"Sorry about the plate." Tyler apologizes while cleaning. I wave my hand dismissively.

"Don't worry. That set was from Eli's parents. It was mad ugly. Now I have an excuse to not use them when they eat over." He laughs before getting back to what he was doing. I look around the room I am currently in. The hall way. The walls are white with hard wood flooring. A large beautiful chandelier hangs from the ceiling lighting up the room and the curled stairway. This house is amazing and gorgeous. We're so lucky to be able to have it let alone afford it. The whole house is basically empty. Only a small couch, a cheap T.V, and a seemingly plastic dinning table and chairs from Walmart that is a few years old.

The windows are open letting in the hot air. The summer is slowly creeping in along with Tyler and I's one year anniversary of being friends. He plans on throwing a, and in his words: big ol' ass party with lots of beer and lot's of food." Not just because of our friendship but because it will be a late house warming. Two months late to be exact.

Suddenly, Strong hands wrap around my waist from behind, picking me up and twirling me around in a large circle.

"Stop! Stop! I'm getting dizzy!" I scream over and over until he lets me down. I smack his chest playfully while the world around me spins rapidly, slowly becoming normal again. I reach up and ruffle his brown hair because I know just how much it bothers him. He always says that it messes up his style. But I always snicker at him and ruffle it again.

"Stop! Jo you're messing up my hair! You know I hate that." He starts to run to a different place in the house, laughing like a little excited boy on Christmas morning. Deciding it to be fun, I run after him. We run into the kitchen where Tyler is organizing things. Tyler ends up getting in the way and stopping us. He calls us immature before leaving the room to go do something else leaving me and this idiot alone. He wraps his arms around me and kisses my lips gently.

"I love you, Jo." He says softly before putting his nose into my hair, gently roking back and forth.

"I love you too, Eli." This all reminds me of the first time we said we love each oher. We had been cuddling on the couch of his old apartment watching a movie that I havr forgotten the name. I laughed at a part where a girl insults a guy using wit. He laughed along with my laugh and then kissed my head whispering those three words that I have heard two months earlier. But both times seemed to have different meaning and purpose.

Although I don't think I was suppose to know about the first I love you. It was the night me and Eli had our first date. Dan seemed a but quiet when the rest of them asked about Eli. When we all ate pizza and watched movies. I ended up falling asleep on the floor with my head resting in Dan's shoulder. I have been drifting in and out of consciousness ever since the last movie started. The last time I opened my eyes that night, the sight of rolling credits met my eyes and a faint whisper in my ear. Dan expected everyone was asleep but he didn't expect that I heard him. He sounded reserved and somewhat pathetic, almost hopeless. But when Eli first said it, it was full with proposes and compassion. Ever since that night we have been almost inseparable. Only when he went to his job as an assistant. He makes okay money but I make the most thanks for YouTube.
