"Stiff" that's the nick name I will hold with me my entire life. But just recently, that name has been slightly forgotten. Thanks to me ranking 2nd initiation. But let's face it, I was a huge failure at the fighting part. My defense mechanisms were god awful. The only thing that allowed me to pass in to the second part of initiation was me claiming victory... fighting gale. Gale was so defenseless, I could take him to the ground in seconds. But besides that, I had 6 fears. I got through all of them under 2 minutes. So that brought me right to the top. "Kyle! Get up mother fucker!" I hear some one pounding on my door. I hate alarm clocks so I just have Denver wake me up. But honestly, she's just as obnoxious. I slump out of bed. The wood creaks under my feet. I open the door and she is already flipping me off. "Wake uuup" she sings. I just ignore her and walk to my closet. Denver walks in like she owns the damn place, and right behind her is Alaska. Alaska skips over to my coffee maker and helps her self. My closet is mosh pit of black clothes. With some occasional dark reds, greens, grays, and other gloomy colors. I finally decide on black jeans, a black t shirt, a burgundy shrug, and "lumber jack" boots. "Hurry your ass up Kyle!" Alaska urges as her coffee brews. "One god damn sec!" some times I wonder how I can even stand this girl. I jog out the door with Denver, with Alaska trailing behind with her coffee in one hand and her phone glued to the other. We sprint our way down to the dining hall. We slow out pace and walk over to our regular table. "Guys! It's mother fucking pancake day!" Screams Uriah. "Fuck yea!" I scream back. Pancakes are love. Pancakes are life. That's basically life's motto. We sit down at our regular table. I sit between Denver and four. Because if they some how ended up sitting next to each other... People will die. " Has any one noticed yet?" Asks four. " What." Says Marlene with the usual sarcastic tone she talks in when he talks. "It's Eric's birthday." He says. The table goes silent. Last year Eric died. Because of me. But honestly I don't regret it. He was a jackass. He treated me like I was five years old. So... I may have shot him. Not in the chest or what ever. I shot him in the leg. The fucking leg. I guess that shows how big of a pussy he actually was. Every body looks at me. I sink into my chair. "At least nobody's getting pushed around anymore." Says Uriah, trying to make the awkward situation better. But instead, he makes it worse. I get up and leave the table. I start jogging to my apartment. I go into my pocket looking for my keys. "DAMN IT!" I scream, they're not there. I look under my door mat for my spare. I grab it. But suddenly someone grabs me from behind. I swing around, It's Al, one of the lame initiates. I take out my pocket knife from my pocket, but they knock it out of my hand. Well shit. I am totally defenseless without that thing. I attempt to throw a couple punches, but they kick my feet out from underneath me. I fall hard on my back. But I pop right back up, this time I know what I'm doing. He lunges for me but I step out of the way, so he falls to the ground. I kick him in the side several times. And I punch him in the throat, he goes out like a light. I take my phone and call Denver. I sit on him so he won't budge. 5 minutes later I see Denver and Alaska running down the hallway. "What the fuck happened?!" Denver frantically screams. "Just a stupid initiate attempting to beat me up" I say with huge annoyance. "Let's get him to the E.R." Says Alaska. I take his feet and Alaska takes his arms. But honestly, I'm surprised we didn't crack his head open, he is such a fat ass.
