Not today Satan! Nope nope nope! I am not getting out of bed because of this damn jet lag! "GRANT! Wake up and get ready for your first day at public school here in the US," My mother said busting in my room, which I had yet to unpack since moving in a couple of days ago. As you can tell I'm Grant Scott. My mother, two little brothers, and myself all moved over from the UK after my parents divorced earlier this year."But... What about helping you here around the house and to unpack more boxes?" I asked finally rolling out of the bed and over to my gym bag which had enough clean clothes in it to last me a full two weeks. "You know that you can't miss anymore days or else you'll be behind all the other students. Plus it's your first day of Junior year!" Mom said smiling and shutting my door to go yell at my brothers to get dressed and ready for school. I rolled my eyes at what my mother said and continued on my way to my bathroom to shower, as well as get ready for class.

I got out of the shower and put my towel around my body as I looked in the mirror. "Ugh... How is it that even after showering my eyes still look shitty," I mumbled before cleaning my face and putting in my contacts, " Eh. Better I guess it's better than nothing." My phone goes off as it's my father. Have a good first day of school Grant⭐️. Just because we moved out of England, it doesn't mean that he has the damn right to message me or my family. Ever since the day the divorce papers came into the house my parents fought like there was no tomorrow. Ty. I continue to get myself ready for school. "Now... If I were Connie would I wear Purple with these jeans or a sweatshirt with black shorts.? Of course she would make fun of the fact for even thinking about heading out looking like a homeless person." I put on the first choice and head out my room. "Alright guys I'm going to head out see you guys later, and don't give mom a headache when she drops you off." My brothers roll their eyes and said bye before I shut the door. "Let's just hope today goes smooth." I mumbled to himself before getting in my truck. On the way to school I notice a fairly cute lady drive by that looks like she's heading to the same place that I'm heading to just because of her sweatshirt. So I pull over next to her and roll down my window. "Hello there miss. I noticed that you were walking and that you have a Restwork Hoodie on." I said smiling as I unlocked me door. The girl looked creeped out and looked like she was about to fight me, "How the hell do you know that!" She got defensive and was about to call out for help. "Ok ok ok! I'm Grant, and I'm a new student at the school. I just wanted to see if you would like a ride to school so we don't show up hot and out of breath." I said smiling once more as I pulled out a temporary student ID card so that I could get into the building itself without waiting ten minutes for the office to verify that I'm a student. "See." The girl's face went red as she looked down at her feet, "o-oh sorry I'm not use to people doing this type of thing... Sorry, but sure I would like a ride Grant." Her face started to dim down as she got into my car. She had jet black hair with a few streaks, and she didn't look too tall for the fact that she needed to use the step up to get into my truck. "Alright, missss- What's your name?" I asked bluntly while pulling back into the road to get back on track to school. "I'm Becky Kline, I'm sophomore at the school." Becky said smiling before taking out her beats so that we could talk. "Well it's nice to meet you Becky. Anyways, What's the school like because the day that I went with my mother to get me into the school it looked a total chaotic nightmare because of the large amounts of cameras and ID scanners." I went off about how I felt the first time I ever seen my new school. "It's not too bad just because of the fact that nothing ever happens here in the small city of Restwork. The only thing at our school that is very well known here in the Eastern part of the states is that our soccer and football teams are known because we haven't had a year in 5 years that we lost our Championship games. But back to the school life, It honestly not the worst that it could be." Great... That's just what I needed to hear before heading into the school for the first day this year. So it is true that this soccer team is pretty good and only the best of the best can get onto Varsity. "Well that's a excellent thing to say the least if we are being completely honest. I think I might try out for Varsity soccer." Becky looked me straight in the eyes and shook her head. "That's not a good move newbie... Only the best of best can get on the varsity, and the only way that you can do that is by knowing someone already on the team..." As she said that we pulled into the student parking lot. Lets get this bread!

A.N) Just wanted to post a new store that I forgot that I had in my note back a little while back. This story is all made by me and is from events that have taken place in my life, but more dramatic and heart touching. Anyways I'll stop talking now! Peace ✌️
