"So, this woman runs into the set, i don't even know how she got in because it was a closed set, anyways, she came running in screaming for me. And so i thought something was wrong and ran to her. I thought that like maybe someone was hurt or something and she just seen a name somewhere and went looking for them. But then she pulls me down and takes a picture of me with her.
After security managed to get her out, some guy comes running in screaming your name. When someone said you weren't here, he asked for me and wouldn't leave until he talked to me. Then security had to carry him out because he just wouldn't leave. Then five more people came running in, then seven, then all of a sudden the paparazzi was there.
They were all calling Alex's and Raillery's names. I guess somehow your story managed to reach all the way across the country, but how? people don't really pay attention to the famous here. I mean yes every once and awhile someone will ask to take a picture with you, but only like once or twice a month."
The girl's didn't know what to say, they were trying to get over the fact that Blake stupidly brought them there. Alex was wondering why he thought it was a good idea, Raillery wanted to know why he even brought them there in the first place, and Cassidy wanted to know why she had to follow them there. "You're an idiot" Cassidy said "Why?" "you brought them here which people will notice and want them even more. but why do they want them?" "most of them said they wanted an autograph, others said you didn't deserve fame over friendship. I don't know the real reason as to why they know about you here, but I do know they are nuts"
Blake pulled into the driveway at his house and unlocked the doors for them. They followed him into the house and sat at the table, except Cassidy, who went straight for the fridge. She grabbed three cans of Pepsi, tossing one to Raillery and another to Alex, while Blake grabbed a bottle of water. He opened a cupboard by the fridge and took out a stack of newspapers, bringing them over to the table and setting them down.
"What's all that?" Alex asked "these are all the newspaper articles that were ever written about you and Raillery" Blake picked up some of the papers "well, just the articles, not the whole newspaper" he laughed. Cassidy grabbed some out of the stack and read the headlines "'Locals Alex Brockton, Blake Brockton's daughter, almost killed by friend Raillery Stan!' 'Alex and Raillery stay friends' 'The friendship that took McKinley by surprise!' So that's how you became famous"
Raillery and Alex didn't know how they became famous, they just knew that they were. It seemed as if everyone but them knew, they just never cared to ask. At first they loved the fame, being in magazines, commercials, even on talk shows, they loved it. But that love slowly faded away as the end of the friendship began.
Everyone's thoughts were cut off by the doorbell. Blake walked over to open it, surprised to see Cally. "Oh, hey, honey. What brings you here?" he kissed her "Our daughter, she keeps going places without me knowing. I don't care where she goes in McKinley, but if you're going out of the city, at least tell me. It's as simple as that, i had to bring your sister with me, she wouldn't leave me alone about never travelling. I tried telling her she goes somewhere at least once a month, but she said she would pay for the tickets, so i let her come." Cally explained.
"Where are you staying? or are you going back home?" Raillery asked "I'm staying here for a couple weeks. I called the school, said we were going on a vacation. All they said to me was 'have fun!', then hung up. They always do that for some reason, i wonder if it's an automatic voice message" "Did you say all three of us were going on a vacation?" Cassidy asked "Because if you didn't, my mom is going to kill me if i'm not back by tomorrow" She laughed "Yes, Raillery's mom and your mom called and said we were all going together"
"Anyways, i'm going to go, Bree is waiting for me at the house" Just like Blake, Cally had a house in Seattle. It was also small, but still big enough for two or three people. Ever since Alex was 16, she had an apartment there. She has only used it once or twice, but this would be the third time. "Guess we are staying at the apartment" Alex said "It's getting late we should go" Cassidy said "Yeah, i agree. Ill drive you" Blake said.
They had once again all filed into the car, including Cally. "I'll drop off Cally first since it's closer" Everyone nodded. Once he dropped off Cally, he had brought the girls to Alex's apartment. Only opening the door to see it trashed, as if someone had broken in. They all looked at each other shocked, they knew Alex was very neat. She would never leave it like this. Then they noticed something, a note on the couch. "'Who would've thought i'd escape'" Alex read. Then the beeping started.
