It was a calm evening with rain softly hitting the roof creating a warm fuzzy feeling in the house. They were in front of the sliding door, just watching the raindrops fell on the glass and the green grass. Without any words uttered, they sat side by side, hugging knees.

Hyeran didn't mind to stay like this, forever. Closing the gap between them, she then, rested her head on his broad shoulder. His warm, callused fingers caressed her cheek endearingly. A small smile appeared on her lips. She wanted to be in love with him forever. She wanted to stay in this dream.

The low rumbling of thunder could be heard in the distance. She closed her eyes and listened to his soft humming.

Soon, she lost in her own dream.

When Hyeran opened her eyes again, he was gone, leaving her lying on her side, alone in front of the sliding door. The rain has stopped for ages. The moon was back on the night sky, willingly emitting its light into the gloomy room.

She slowly stood up and reached for the switch. She turned on the lamp to extinguish the darkness.

“It's him again.” mumbled Hyeran to no one.

“Yes, it was me.” The ghost answered. But for sure, she didn't hear his quiet voice.

“Eun! Where are you?” She exited her bedroom and looked for her beloved cat.

The ghost cracked an amused smile. He felt like she was calling for him. “I'm here~” He floated to her side.

Hyeran entered the kitchen and found her cat was already waiting for his dinner on the kitchen island.

“Awh, you're hungry aren't you? I'm sorry.” She patted his head and quickly reached out the cat food tin on the shelf before pouring into his glass bowl.

“How about you? Aren't you hungry?” The ghost asked.

Her stomach suddenly growled. “Guess I'm hungry too.”

It was undeniable that she was hungry after taking a long nap. She opened the fridge and just stared at the greens and reds. There was a slice of cake but she wasn't feeling for it.

“Go for ramyun. I love ramyun.” The ghost suggested.

Hyeran closed the fridge and grabbed a cup of instant noodles from the shelf. It only took a few minutes for her to be done with cooking and as usual, she ate alone at the dining table. Sometimes, Hyeran would stare at the empty chair in front of her. 'It would be nice if there's someone here.' she thought.

Little that she know, Baekhyun; a ghost who lived in the house, had always accompanied her in her loneliness since Hyeran moved in a year before.
