It was almost midnight. It had became a routine before bed for Hyeran to write in her diary. Her past entries were all about the same person. And that night, she wrote about him again.

“I just want to talk to you. Who are you and how can I help you?” she sighed as she put down her pen.

“You can always talk to me... I'm here for you.” Baekhyun quietly replied, floating in the doorway.

She was back on her bed, staring at her thoughts, floating up to the ceiling. Reality hit her again when she heard Eun meowed loudly at her door.

“Come here, Eun. Sleep with me.”

The ghost gladly accepted. He sat on the floor with his legs crossed, beside the bed. Meanwhile, the grey coloured cat instantly jumped onto her stomach. Her hands softly petted Eun's head while staring at the white ceiling. Eun's heat was radiating off to her body and it eased her.

The ghost sneakily moved his fingers towards the feline, like a toy. Eun launched to catch his fingers with his mouth. He kept playing with Eun although the feline couldn't actually touch him. Just sometimes, when it was allowed.

Hyeran turned to her left to see Eun was happily playing with the comforter. Sometimes, he'd roll over before returning to attack his nonexistent threat. A weak smile managed to appear on her lips. “Goodnight, Eun.” She said with her eyes shut close.

Baekhyun stared at Hyeran's hand that draped over the bed. Slowly, carefully, Baekhyun tried to hold her hand but he just went through her skin. He could feel his disappoinment rising and he hated it.

“Sweet dreams.” He mumbled.

Hyeran knew she was dreaming when the first thing came into her sight was him. He was sitting beside her, smiling, but there's hint of sorrow beneath the smile.

Out of nowhere, her fingers found his and she lightly squeezed his hands. The gesture was brief but it left him calmer.
