Chapter 1

Today is the day that I finally get to visit my brother Anthony. I haven't seen him in months since he lives in LA with all of his "Tik Tok friends". I have never personally met any of his friends but today I will meet them. I am honestly kind of nervous to meet them. I have kind of stalked some of their tiktok profiles if I'm being honest. They seem super cool but it still makes me nervous because they might judge me. I get out of bed after about 20 minutes of just laying there on my phone scrolling through Instagram. I head to the shower and blast my music. I probably took about another 20 minutes in the shower since I needed to shave. I already brushed my teeth in the shower so at least I got that taken care of. I begin to blow dry my hair, once it is dry and straight I begin my makeup. I went for a more natural look with some mascara, highlight, and lipgloss. The outfit I picked out was just a simple purple NASA croptop and black leggings. It was already 7:00 and my flight was at 8:30 so I should get going. My mom helped my get my suitcase into the car and we were off to the airport.

After quite a long time of going through security checks, I finally made it to my plane. We don't take off until 8:45 and it is currently 8:25 so I decide to FaceTime Anthony to pass the time. On the second ring he answers.

"Hey Alexis," Anthony kindly greets me.

"Heyyy brotherrr I just got on the plane I should be there soon enough."

Anthony smiles before responding, "I'm excited to see you, I've missed you and all my friends are excited to meet you too."

This caught me kind of off guard. His friends were excited to meet me? Do they even know what I look like? I'm so nervous because if I'm being honest, his friends are hot. "Oh they are?" I question.

"Yep, they've seen your tiktoks and think you're cool," he laughs.

This makes me actually want to die. My tiktoks are so embarrassing and I hate that they've seen them. Our flight attendant begins to speak over the intercom telling us that we are about to take off, Anthony and I exchange our goodbyes as I plug my earbuds into the small screen in front of me. This flight seems to be flying by which I'm stoked about.

Before I know it, I'm off the plane. I walk for a little while before I see Anthony. I run to my brother and engulf him in a huge hug.
