Naruto's pov-
"NARUTO GET UP" I heard Kakashi yell from downstairs. I look at the time it was 5:10 am "SCREW YOU I'M SLEEPING" I yelled back turning on my side. It was quiet......to quiet "Run" just as Kurama said that Kakashi appeared in my room looking at me like I burned all his perv books. "oh shit" I said jumping out of the window in my room when I landed on the ground I looked back to see Kakashi doing the same. I started running full speed down the dirt roads with Kakashi in hot pursuit. "Naruto get your ass back here so I can kick your ass," Kakashi said in a dark tone "have mercy!" I yelled back anime crying. Kakashi jumped up and landed on top of me, "now we're going to go home, get dressed, and then we'll go to the training grounds do I make myself clear" He said amused at the blond. "Hai! Tou-san" I yelped out still under the weight of the older man. We both left in a swirl of leaves and into the apartment, I went into my room and grabbed a black long sleeve with my mask still on and ANBU pants with black steel-toed boots. I walked into the kitchen since Tou-san is still getting dressed, I made a quick breakfast. Kakashi walked into the kitchen and glared at me "didn't I said DON'T eat breakfast",
I quickly gulped down the rest of my food before shushining to training ground 7. When I got there I was welcomed by a loud 'your late' from Sasuke and Sakura hitting him on the head saying 'you need to respect Naruto-kun'. "stop hitting Sasuke, Sakura" I groaned and sat at the base of the tree Sasuke was sitting at, after a few minutes Sakura and Sasuke were sitting by me, I was in the middle of them. "Naruto-Kun please go on a date with me," Sakura asked over and over again "No Sakura, I'm not interested," I say getting a tick mark on my forehead "When can we kill her?" Kurama asked also getting a tick mark "sadly we can't kill a member of the village" I reply sighing annoyed that she still talking. As I was turning to talk to Sasuke I saw he was getting up to leave, I also get up to follow him "Hey Sasuke were are you going?" I ask, "well with Sakura's flirting it's hard to think," he said walking away. I quickly catch up with him and matched his pace "so hows Itachi, I haven't heard from him in a while?" I ask trying to start a conversation. Sasuke face faltered a little bit but replied anyway "he fine I guess, I don't really talk to him much but it's whatever" he says smiling at me. and I swear I died a little inside.
Sasuke pov-
I was talking to Naruto while going to a nearby tree. We both walk up the tree and sit on a branch, "Hey Naruto....why do you always decline Sakura... I mean most of the village boys are head over heels for her" I ask with a sigh. he looked at me for a second before answering "hmmm...well I uh I guess you could say I don't swing that way" Naruto chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck "oh ok...wait...WHAT" I yelled at him since when was he gay?! "heh...yeah I just never really felt a...connetion? I don't know" he said flustered "I understand if you hate me now-" "NO...I-I mean...no I do not hate you...I'll always be here for you" I smile at him. Narutos face lit up as he hugged me "thanks Sasuke you're the best!" He practically yelled I turned a bit red before returning the gesture.
Naruto's pov-
I released Sasuke from the death grip and repositioned myself on the tree sitting next to Sasuke instead of....on him. I sighed and looked at him smiling " hey Sasuke when do you think Tou-san will be here?" I ask "I don't know probably an hour or two since it's only 5:45..." "most likely anyway did you have anything to eat?" I say seriously. He looks at me a little fearfully "n-no Kakashi-sensei said not to" I look at him for a second before grabbing a bento box out of nowhere and stuffed food-filled chopsticks in his mouth. This went on for 30minutes till Sasuke was laying on the tree branch stuffed like the duck he is. (get the joke? because his hair looks like a duck? no? ok)
2 hours later Kakashi's pov-
I near the training grounds to see Naruto and Sasuke sitting in a tree talking. I see a slight blush on my adopted son's face, I smirk under my mask and walk over to the tree they were sitting in. "alright you two lovebirds lets start the test" I say earning two red tomatoes and an angry Sakura. "ok we are doing the 'Bell test', you have to get one of these bells by noon" I say holding up two bells. Sakura raised her hand and asked "but Kakashi-sensei there's only two bells there's three of us" everyone sweatdropped at how dumb she can be sometimes. "Yes Sakura there are only two bells, that being said one of you will fail and go back to the academy," I said chuckling at the shocked face of Sakura.
I said 'start' and my genins dispersed into the shadows. It was pretty easy to find Sakura since she didn't know how to hide her chakra, but Naruto and Sasuke were a different story. I pick up my 'icha icha paradise' book or as Naruto calls it 'my porn' but he's just stupid.
Naruto's pov-
'I need to find Sasuke' I think trying to find his chakra signage " ohh~ someone has a crush~" Kurama not being helpful at all said 'oh shut up you dumbass fox' I respond with a bit of pink on my cheeks. I found Sasuke sitting in a tree a few yards away, I shunshin right behind him and tap his shoulder. He nearly jumps out of his skin a turns around "you scared the hell out of me next time fucking warn me" he said letting out a sigh of relief. "heh sorry but I have a plan..."
we were done with the plan and got Sakura to help. I gave a signal and Sasuke jumped in front of Kakashi and tried to kick him in the stomach but backfired as Kakashi blocked and kicked him in the stomach. Sakura was next to rope wait for the right moment to strike. I was in a tree waiting for my turn to fight Kakashi, Sasuke was again sent flying to the other side of the training field it was my cue. I jumped down and punched Kakashi straight in the face he was sent flying to the exact place the trap was in. Sakura cut the rope and a bunch of logs began to fall, as he was busy with the logs he didn't notice me grab the bells from his waistband.
I then moved out of the way so I wouldn't get hit with logs. I walk back to my teammates and see Sasuke and bruised up and leaning on one leg. I rushed to him and started examing all his wounds "N-naruto what a-are you doing" Sasuke said flustered, "I'm checking your wounds what else?" I said standing back up. Kakashi appeared in front of us and asked: "what are you going to do with bells?" "nothing none of us gets a bell because we're all a team, 'cause 'one who breaks the rules are skum but one who abandons their friends and worse then skum'" I say. Kakashi nods "you all pass"
