Hello, my name is Atlanta White. I am 13 and a orphan. My mother and brother died in car accident while my father left me the night after he heard the news. I go to Cannagila Middle school and I am the outsider. Yes, I am the girl that you always see in the hallway that is bullied. One day in Social Studies, we were talking about what was happening to us. Normally one would not want to share what their story is, but I know that sharing all she has done for me will honor her memory.
"Ms. White" The teacher, Mr. Crock told me.
"Okay, My name is Atlanta White and I am a orphan. Nobody asked how though, so I am going to share it because I want to. So when I was 5, my mother and brother died in a car accident and My father left me that night. It hurt knowing that my last family member left me, but do I care, no. His decision was his and I am stronger for it. I honor my family for being her and at least trying what I can. Every weekend, I wake up early to help get the cafeteria ready to help the homeless. My family is gone, but I don't care because if they were, I don't think life will be the same. I am proud to live and serve others. I'm sure my family is too." Everyone clapped. I felt good, I felt like I am stronger that life's challenges, because if I wasn't, I would not be here.
So, to everyone out there, be happy with what you have. Know that whatever situation you are in or what you are, you are always stronger than what is thrown at you. If you weren't, then would you be here?
So to those who are ready to crack under pressure, know that you made it this far in life. If you got this far, what's the point in stopping. To those who want to go under, stay above, because even if you have nobody left, you still have willpower and that willpower keeps your heart beating. Look at what you have to offer to the world and fight for what you don't have.
Spread the word, if you have gotten this far, there is no stopping you as long as you have determination. I for one want to be known for having determination in my eyes, not for giving up and trying to go 6 ft under.
I hope this story helped you hold your head up high and help you move on with determination. Be the one that everyone looks up and keeps others from going down.
It's not what I originally thought, but I don't care. Be free and move on everyone.
From,
Death Queen
