Chapter 33: Night Walk Along Han River

February 18, WINGS Tour

The WINGS Tour begins. This is the first concert that every member has their own solo stage. Every member releases their charm and moved all the ARMYs to tears. I can't pick a favorite between the members' solo performances. 40 000 of ARMYs singing together in the GoCheok Dome is so ecstatic. Knowing that BTS is spreading their wings and flying toward bigger success, I have nothing but faith in them. After the promotion of the special album, You Never Walk Alone, with their new songs Spring Day and Not Today. BTS continues its Wings Tours across the South and North America.

I did not manage to celebrate Yoongi's birthday this year as he spent his birthday on the flight to Chile. But they are finally back in the country on April 13. I've decided to find a chance to speak to Yoongi. I gave him a call and we decided to meet at his studio. 

13 April, 3.32 p.m. BIGHIT Office Building

[Jihye's POV]

Apparently all the members have changed their studios. Yoongi's new studio even has a doorbell and pincode lock. I pressed the doorbell once and wait. Finally, Yoongi opened the door.

Yoongi welcomed me with his gummy smile, and said: "You're here".

The studio this time is 3 times bigger than the previous one. 

🐱Yoongi: Just give me a moment. I'm arranging the beats for a song. I'm almost done.

I nod my head and sat down on the couch behind and wait. Watching Yoongi being serious at work reminds me of the reasons why I fell so hard for this man. I quietly watch him working. From the sound, I can hear that is is SURAN's voice. The melody is really good. Together with SURAN's voice, I'm sure this will be a hit.

Time passed quickly. Despite half an hour has long passed, I remain quiet as Yoongi is engrossed in his work. Another one hour passed, it's finally done.

🐱Yoongi: Perfect.

Yoongi look at the time and realized it is already 5 p.m.! He turns back and sees Jihye is still seated behind. 

🐱Yoongi: I'm so sorry. I forgot about the time. Why didn't you call me?

🦉Jihye: I don't want to interrupt your work. The song is really good though, I enjoy my time listening to it.

🐱Yoongi:  You really think so? SURAN nuna's voice captivates me when I first discovered her. Then I realized that she is a producer too. She is working hard to deliver her debut album this year. 

🦉Jihye: ... I heard about it from the radio interview you had. You said you click with her really well. You even call her nuna, looks like both of you are really close. Both of you are so musically talented... it's a perfect match. 

Yoongi can sense the gloomy vibe from Jihye's tone.

🐱Yoongi: Are you jealous?

🦉Jihye responded coldly: "Jealous? I am, probably. But do I have the right to do so? Sometimes, I really don't know where I stand in this relationship.
