Hansol and me sat on the floor next to the bookshelf. I didn't like reading though, since it was boring. Hansol wasn't good at reading or math. In fact, he was horrible at anything that had to do with thinking. One time the teacher asked Hansol to read one page all by himself. He took five minutes reading just four sentences. Everyone at story time that day laughed at him. I was there to comfort him. Even though Hansol is older than me, I was always helping him out.

He tried to act tough, but he really is soft. Even though I always looked after him and calmed him down. He was the one truly protecting me. I was weak on the outside and can't fight. Hansol was strong though. And super cool, so cool that he is liked by all the girls. He gets mad at me from time to time for being weak. But I can't help it.

"Kwanie", said Hansol. I look up at him and smile. "Yes Hansol", I asked. "Help me read this", he said. He stuffed the book into my lap and snuggled up to my shoulder. He rested his head on the edge of my collar bone. "Read", he said. I smiled to myself and started to read. I couldn't live with out my brother or brothers. I couldn't live with out daddy. I rested my head on Hanson's head. 'I love you hansol..'

'I love you kwanie...'
