Everything will be fine, I'm with you

"Amanda!" He shouted running into the living room. He was holding a pregnancy test and I knew immediately what would happen next. Tears streamed down my face.
"Are you pregnant ?!" he asked angrily. I didn't answer, but began to sob. "Answer!" He slapped me.
"Yes," I said softly, holding my cheek. He hit me again and I fell backwards onto the couch. I knew he would hit me until the baby was dead, but even though the baby was from a monster, I already loved it and I would do anything to protect it, so I held my hands in front of my stomach. He kept beating me.
"Please stop," I pleaded although I knew it was useless.
"You're worthless no one will ever love you," he pushed me and my head slammed against the table. His words were cruel, but what was worse was that he was right and suddenly everything went black.

When I woke up I was lying on the ice cold floor of our living room. From Ben no trace. I pulled myself up at the table. I was dizzy and my head hurt like hell. I crept quietly into the corridor and starred in the mirror. I looked terrible! My face was blue and purple. My head, my hair and half my face full of blood. But I didn't care. I just wanted to get away. Away from this monster. I wanted to leave the house, but all I was wearing were my panties and a tank top. I grabbed a coat and left our house. I didn't know where to go. The only thing I knew was that I would never come back. I got into my car and drove off, God knows where. After a felt eternity, I stopped my car. I looked around. I parked next to Alesha's house. How I had managed to land here I didn't know. I got out and made it to her door. I rang the bell and she opened the door.
"Oh my god Amanda!" Alesha screamed in shock. "What happened?" She asked worriedly. I couldn't stand anymore and fell forward. She caught me and carried me to her bedroom where she gently put me on her bed. The last thing I remember is that she gave me a kiss on the forehead.

When I woke up, Alesha was sitting next to me.
"And how do you feel?"
"My head hurts," I said.
"You have to disinfect the wound and take a bath to get rid of all the blood," she said.
"Can you help me, I feel so weak," I asked Alesha.
"Of course".
She helped me into the bathroom where I started taking off my clothes. Alesha looked away as I took off my panties and my bra. I got into the bath and told her she could look again. She cleaned my wounds while I told her what had happened.
"Oh, Mandy," she sighed and we both cried. Nobody else called me Mandy. I didn't like it, but when Alesha did that it was different. She helped me to wash and I was so thankful to have such a great friend. Friends. That was all we were, even though I felt more for Alesha.
She gave me a towel and left the bathroom. I wrapped the towel around me and followed her. She gave me a pair of knickers and a way too big shirt. I got dressed and cuddled under Alesha's blanket.
"Good night Mandy," she said and wanted to leave the room, but I held her back.
"Please don't leave me alone," I pleaded and she got in bed with me.

I felt so sorry for Amanda. Ben is a bastard. How could he do that to someone so beautiful and valuable? I look at her. Tears were rolling down her cheeks.
"Everything will be fine, I'm with you," I said, hugging her. I never wanted to let Amanda go. She means more to me than just a friend, but I couldn't tell her that. It would ruin our friendship and I couldn't risk that. She raised her head and we stared at each other for a while. She is so beautiful. Suddenly we kissed passionately. I don't know who kissed whom first.
"I love you Amanda," I said.
"I love you too".
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" I asked.
"Yes," she answered happily.
We would raise Amanda's baby together and I couldn't wait.
