I Love You

Yay so..... it's kinda been a long time since I posted something..... Sorry! Now since it's summer though so I promise to actually get things posted now! Aka why I'm posting this. I hope you like it. The description kinda sucks, and I'll fix it sometime soon. (After I can get better at summerizing/advertising something that is...)  XD

Chapter One- I Love You

Still laughing at Jace's not that funny joke I turn to him. "So how do-" I say stopping mid sentence as I notice his attention elsewhere. As I turn to look at what my best guy friend is so intensely smiling at I see her. Her, the person in charge of the already aching feeling in my chest with just a glance of her. Jace starts walking towards her forgetting all about me. 

"One minute Eve." He says as an after thought towards me.

At least look at me before rudely walking away! Geez boy. "Yeah sure. I'll see you in class then." I whisper dejected knowing he didn't hear me since he's already half way to her.

Smiling at Jace she says bye to Laurie, and approaches him. Reaching up on her petite legs Kayla Wyles, Jace's girlfriend, wraps her slender arms around his neck. "Hey babe." She says in her total annoying too peppy voice. My chest drops further. 

"Hey to you too. I have have to go to class still, but I'll see you later." Jace replies smiling at her with those adoring eyes. 

That should be me.

"Okay then see you later." Kayla says still smiling up at him like the lucky b**** she is.

"I love you." Jace says trying to be quiet, so I wouldn't hear him.

At that very moment my heart stops, my mouth drops, and my whole world stops.

"I love you too." She says back not being quiet at all. Reaching up further on her tip toes she kisses him on the lips.Releasing her hold on him she turns hair flip, and all. Sashaying towards the doors outside.

Actually never mind that moment is when my whole stops and shatters into tiny un-fixable pieces. Why, why, why? Before Jace can turn back around from watching her tiny butt sway as she leaves I take off running. Shoving people out of the way. Don't cry Eve! Don't cry! Not in front of everyone. Ducking into the nearest bathroom I slam the door shut behind me already tears streaming down my face. 

"Why? Why did I do that? Why did I have to notice my feelings too late?" I say to myself sliding down the bathroom door sobbing.

"Eve? Eve what's wrong? What happened?" I hear some one say. look up seeing my best friend in the whole entire world looking at me with confusion.  

"I... He........ They..." I say not making out a complete sentence from crying so hard. 

"Come here." Ree says wrapping her arms around me. I lay my head down on her shoulder and just sob. After an hour I finally start to calm down.

"It's okay. It's gonna be okay Eve." She says stroking my back calmingly.

"My throat hurts." I croak out after a minute wiping my eyes, and snotty nose.

Laughing Ree nods her head and says, "Okay let's get you straightened up then we will go and get some water."

Nodding we both stand up and walk to the sink. My whole body is numb. My heart is numb. Splashing water on my face I look into the mirror at the girl staring back at me. She has messy long curly blonde hair, and blue eyes. With mascara streaked down her face. That girl has the face of someone who has lost many things important to her. That girl is me, but after today she won't be. Never again. I'm going to change. I won't let another guy break my heart. Clenching my fists on the sinks edge I look straight into Ree's eyes. 

 "You, me, mall after school." I say not even asking.

"Okay I'll get my mom to drop me off at the food court at six then you can sleep over at me place." She replies like this is totally normal.

"No you can sleep over at my house this time. It's gonna be a long day though." I warn her.

As she nods her head in understanding I turn picking up my black worn out book bag, and sling into onto my shoulder. I got my heart broken again today, but after tonight it's never happening again.
