Chapter 15: Monday

It was dark, late at night. Jenny pulled on her lip nervously while she held hands with her mom as they walk towards her new boyfriends house

"Don't worry sweet heart, Justin is a nice person, he'll love you" Ariel smiled. Jenny frowned and squeezed on her hand that was larger then her own

"No he won't... everyone hates me, he will too"

"You have to believe he won't, and he has a wonderful son, he's a bit older but you two will be friends" even though Jenny knew that was a lie, she wet along with what she said and nodded

"Yes mom..." they reached the front door and rang the door bell. Ariel squeezed on her daughters hand. Jenny looked up at her "are you okay?" Ariel sighed

"Yes, I am" the front door opened, showing a tall pale man with blue eyes and a short hair cut

"Sweetie, you came" he smiled and kissed Ariel's cheek. Jenny hid behind her moms back, not wanting to show herself "who's this?" he tried to look behind Ariel's back. she pulled on Jenny's hand softly and placed her in front of her. the mans face dropped

"Jenny, this is Justin. Justin, this is my daughter I was telling you about" Ariel brightly smiled, Justin cleared his throat and looked the other way

"She doesn't much looks like you" he muttered, Ariel sighed

"Yeah well... She got most of her looks from her father" Justin nodded and brought back his smile, looking at Ariel

"Why don't you come in?" Ariel nodded and stepped inside, Jenny took a step forward before feeling a hard wind pass her into the house. She stopped and looked around

"Sweetie, is something the matter?" Ariel asked, Jenny looked up and saw Justin's disapproval face staring at her, she looked down

"No..." She stepped into the house and closes the door behind her. Seeing a dark haired boy around her age playing a game on the couch

"David, get off that game and come greet our guest" Justin said, David looked up and noticed Jenny hiding being Ariel, he scowled and got up to shake hands with Ariel

"Hi, I'm David" he smiled, ignoring Jenny, she hide behind Ariel and started to quietly cry, why does everyone hate her..? She just doesn't understand... Ariel smiled and greeted him back

"Jenny, say hi" Jenny shook her head and remained in the same place. Ariel sighed and looked at the boys "sorry, she's shy" Justin shrugged and smiled

"I just finished dinner, let's eat" Ariel smiled and nodded, David passed them, mean mugged Jenny without letting Ariel know and went into the dining room, she shed tears and cupped her eyes, hiding them from her mom. A boy walked from upstairs and into the room. He had a warm smile on his face, kind brown eyes, and long light brown hair that covered his forehead

"Oh! Who's this?" Ariel smiled, Justin looked down at the boy confused

"I do-"

"I'm his son, Jeramy" Jeremy smiled brightly and looked in his eyes "I'm your son,remember? sorry I'm late, I was with a friend" Justin stood confused until the compelling was complete, he smiled

"Of course" he wrapped his arm around Jeremy and looked at Ariel, smiling "this is my second son, Jeremy"

"You never mentioned a second son" Ariel shook his hand, smiling excitedly at him. Jenny uncovered one eye to glance at him, he smiles at her warmly, huh..?

"I haven't? That's odd..." Justin laughed "I could have sworn I did, come, the food will get cold" he took Ariel's hand and took her into the dining room. Jenny and Jeremy stood there in place, Jenny turned her shoulder shyly, avoiding eye contact. He smiled and walked over towards her
