April Jeanette Mendez Brooks raised her World Wrestling Entertainment Divas Championship high in the air after victoriously retaining it against Victoria Elizabeth Crawford. April was one of the most popular WWE Divas currently on the main roster, and went by the ring name AJ Lee. April and AJ were literally the same person. They were both geek goddesses, and both did not react too fondly to someone calling them crazy. Although Victoria was a veteran, and had outstanding wrestling moves, April did not think that she was a threat to her title. In fact, none of the other Divas were a threat. In this case, it was the main reason why April was a loner in the locker room. All of the other Divas despised her, on and off the camera. After a couple of seconds, April exited the ring, blowing a kiss to Victoria, who was sprawled out in the center of the ring, holding her head. She smiled at a couple of fans and skipped to the locker room, where she was then greeted by two of the developmental NXT Divas, Alexis Kaufman and Pamela Rose Martinez.
"Hello, my name is Alexis, I am one of the new NXT Divas," Alexis quickly said, holding out her hand for April to shake. April politely smiled, wondering why Alexis was so anxious to meet her.
"Nice to meet you, Alexis. I actually saw your debut match last week, you were amazing. Pamela, it is nice to see you again. How are things at NXT?"
April and Alexis had just met, but Pamela had a match against her for the Divas Championship last year at NXT.
"Good, actually. I might be getting a shot at the NXT Women's Championship soon, and I am actually Alexis's mentor. Her debut was great."
"It really was. I have a flight to catch, but I will be watching NXT Takeover in two weeks. It was really nice meeting you, Alexis. Goodbye, Pamela." April smiled and quickly walked away, not wanting to miss her flight. Secretly, April did not like Pamela. She was too immature for her. Who still liked bows and rainbows at 25 years old? April smirked at Victoria, who had just entered the locker room with one of her friends, who was also from NXT, Rebecca Knox. Rebecca had just recently made her in ring debut too, and was a fan favorite because she was Irish. To April, Rebecca was annoying.
"April, can I talk to you for a second?" Rebecca then asked, walking away from Victoria, and heading towards April.
"Is it important? I sort of have a plane to catch. You wouldn't know what it's like to travel from city to city just yet."
"You were in NXT too, April. Besides, why were you so ruthless in the ring tonight? Victoria barely had a chance."
"That is the point, Rebecca. Do you think that I really would cut Victoria some slack, and possibly give her the chance of taking the title away from me? I have no idea how things work down in NXT, but here, if you want to make it to the top, there is no such thing as cutting people some slack. You will learn that soon. That is, if you ever make it to the main roster. Now if you would excuse me, I do have a plane to catch." April turned away from Rebecca and began packing her bags, satisfied that she had just proved herself to Victoria and Rebecca, although she did not really need to.
