'WHAT!?" Leo questioned.

'I..I can' move..." She repeated.

'Short Circuits, She's been paralyzed!" Chip exclaimed.

'Tr-Try to move your hand! Your toes! Anything!" Leo tried to encourage her.

Ruby growled and tried to move her hand again

Unresponsive...

She tried moving her toes,

No result...

Ruby's chest began to feel tight, she started hyperventilating,

'Friend Ruby...?" Chip asked.

'I can' move...I can' mov...I ca' mo..." She frantically muttered.

'She's starting to repeat things..." Chip stated.

She could feel her heart beating from her chest, her stomach churning.

'I do' f'eel sogood..." She muttered.

'Ruby...? A-Are you alright...?" Leo asked getting more concerned within the minute.

'I thin' I'm gunna thro up..." Ruby muttered.

Leo's eyes widened as her helped her to her knees.

A white substance poured from her mouth.

'Ah man!" Chip exclaimed.

He shapeshifted his hand into a rag and cleaned it up.

'She's having a meltdown..." Chip trailed off.

'She's having a what!?" Leo frantically questioned.

'She's having a meltdown!" Chip replied.

'No so lou' pleez!!!" Ruby pleaded.

'I'm so sorry..." Chip whispered.

Ruby tried to swallow down any remaining vomit she might've been harbouring.

A few seconds later,

'Iz Oka..." She whimpered.

Her vision started to become a statiky yellow as her temperature began to rise.

Leo pulled her back to lean on him, her head hit beside her shoulder

'Ow..." She whimpered.

'Th-That actually hurt..?" Leo questioned himself.

Chip rushed to Ruby with his hand shape shifted as a thermometer.

Ruby started to wail, incomprehensibly refusing to even crack her mouth open.

'She thinks it's blood..." Chip trailed off.

'R-Rby iz no blu' I mrcry!" Ruby heard.

Ruby wailed, her lips trembling, she whimpered some more.

She shook her head.

'Did she not hear me...?" Leo questioned.

'Her Temperature's elevating!" Chip panicked.

'Dih ser mot turehe vaiege!!!!" Was all Ruby could hear.

Ruby wailed and burst into tears.

She couldn't hear Leo, She couldn't hear Chip...the cars and trucks' honking and stopping and swerving became like nails on a chalkboard, Leo and Chip's voices became meaningless babble...

'Ruby, Ruby stay with me!" Leo pleaded as he tapped her cheek.

She started to wail a bit louder.
